00:00Stoney, last thing for you, you have mentioned multiple times now about the decision that
00:04you're going to make at the end of the season, that you're going to hold off on any grand
00:09pronouncements until you have time to decompress and evaluate.
00:14What are the criteria for your evaluation?
00:16Well, there's a couple of things that have really nothing to do with the White Sox.
00:21One is overall general health, which has been wonderful.
00:24So I anticipate going forward that that will stay pretty much the same.
00:30So you look at that, then you look at how many games you're doing.
00:35And right now, I do 143, including spring training, and get 25 games off.
00:42And so that's one of the things that I would like to address because, you know, that old
00:47saying, nobody on their deathbed said, geez, I wish I had worked more.
00:51So there's those two things.
00:53And there's also the fact that, and I anticipate this will stay the same, I've loved this game
00:57for a long time.
00:58I've played it since I was five years old.
01:01I played it at the highest levels against the best in the world and enjoyed every aspect
01:05of that, understanding that there would be injuries that come around, there would be
01:09a lot of stress involved in that, there would be some terrible years and some good years.
01:14But as long as I still love this game, as long as I still feel the way I feel, including
01:19health and everything else, I can't see giving it up at this point.
01:23That being said, we don't know what the future holds.
01:26And I'm not good enough to look a month and a half or so down the road and understand
01:30how everything is going to be working at that point.
01:32So that's pretty much it.
01:35It's a very long non-answer to your question.
01:38But those are the things that I would look to.
01:41And then we'll go in.
01:42They have, by they, I'm talking about the front offices intimated that they would like
01:47to have me back.
01:49And that's certainly a big part of the equation, because if they don't want you back, then
01:52there's no consideration on your part.
01:54So I'm in the enviable position to be able to do that.
