00:00This morning, it's true that the race was a bit disturbed by all the falls.
00:10Yeah, it's a bit complicated, it hurts a bit everywhere, but after that, it's part of the race.
00:17And then this afternoon, there's the race against the clock, so you have to get back into it quickly and we'll see what happens in an hour.
00:24I'm really tired, to be honest. The last two stages have been really fast.
00:29It's been really hot, so to recover has been not so easy, but I'm excited for the time trial this afternoon because it's only 6km.
00:39Is it a TT for the pure specialist or the sprinters can also take the win?
00:44Yeah, definitely not a specialist TT, I think it's a little bit short.
00:49Yeah, especially for me, I do better in the longer time trials, so I think I can still be reasonably competitive, but not suiting me on paper, but we will try anyway.
01:01I think there will be sprinters who will win more than a normal chrono, but I don't think that eliminates the chrono specialists, in my opinion.
01:09It looks more like a prologue, I would say. It's going to be pure power that will have to be put on the pedals.
01:16The goal is above all not to lose seconds for the overall ranking.
01:20What do we do to recover between the two races?
01:24We eat a little bit anyway, we take a good shower and then we try to rest, a little nap, a little bit of compression boots and then we're going to find the track a little bit anyway, stretch our legs.
01:34After two sprints, the riders return to where they ended stage 2 to set off one by one for a short but intense 6.3km time trial.
01:52Set up to shake up the leaderboard, will it change who dawns yellow?
01:56Dutch rider Loes Adegast set the first meaningful reference points. The FTG Suez rider shaved more than 13 seconds off Elena Peroni's time.
02:12Loes Adegast is going to go top of the leaderboard, potentially into the hot seat. 13.6 seconds, over 50km an hour into first place.
02:25Yet it was her teammate Grace Brown expected to really light up the road, despite the short distance not quite being to her liking.
02:33It might be difficult to get enough time in the time trial to win the yellow jersey, but yeah, we'll see, anything's possible.
02:44The Olympic-inspired Golden Lapierre bike was gliding until a puncture midway through saw yet another bike change.
02:52Managed to get that bike change extremely fast, but that's in this sort of time trial, you can't afford to have a bike change.
03:01Brown ending 19 seconds down on Adegast's time, Ellen Van Dyck though much closer, just a second behind.
03:12Kirsten Fogner was ahead of the split, but by the finish, the double gold medalist was 0.77 behind.
03:19Adegast in the driving seat longer than expected, but now the turn of the reigning world champion, Chloe Degart.
03:27This is going to be tight yet again, 7 minutes 30.52, can she do it? Yes!
03:35Adegast, pushed out of the hot seat by the dashing Degart by only 0.17 seconds.
03:41The American though wouldn't sit comfortably, here came the defending Tour de France FAM champion.
03:46Demi Vollering wanted to leave her mark just south of her hometown Pernakker, before the peloton would depart the Netherlands.
03:54Is Demi Vollering making a statement? Yes she is, she smashes the time of Chloe Degart.
04:00And Degart doesn't look like she can believe it, 5.21 seconds faster by last year's winner of the Tour.
04:09So Demi Vollering wins stage 3 of the Tour de France FAM Avec Zwift.
04:16Charlotte de Kool now, she needs to get there within 20 seconds of Demi Vollering's time or she loses yellow.
04:26She's going to lose it by about 3 seconds, Charlotte de Kool arrives 33rd time, 25 seconds outside the time of Demi Vollering.
04:36I really didn't see this coming, so I had no idea that I could do this today, so I'm really surprised actually.
04:51The plan was to take it a little bit later in the week, so I'm really surprised I have the yellow jersey now already.
04:58I don't know, it was a strange day for me, I cannot believe it yet.
05:02Her previous Tour stage success was up the Tourmalet, this time Vollering powering around Rotterdam.
05:08Last year's best young rider Cédric Grebol joining Degart and Edderhast at 5 seconds off the pace.
05:15The defending champion back in yellow.
05:17The calculators are out but Vollering ending up 3 seconds ahead of teammate Webis.
05:23Kool couldn't hold on to the leader's jersey but she'll still be resplendent in green.
05:28No change with the top 2, Webis moves up to 3rd behind Marianne Vos.
05:34No points up for grabs, so Tenetti safely in polka dots, but competition for the Queen of the Mountain jersey will hot up on stage 4 and beyond.
05:43Annina Atosalo is the best young rider so far, but there's just 39 seconds between the top 10.
05:50Leaving the flatlands of the Netherlands behind, it's Belgium next with the peloton hitting the hills to face something more akin to the Ardennes classics.
