Western Australia's Olympic heroes are home, touching down in Perth after securing almost a quarter of the country's gold medals. And while the Paris Games finished just days ago, there's already talk about Los Angeles in 2028.

00:05After a long flight from Paris, Western Australia's Olympians are finally home, greeted by friends
00:11and family.
00:12He's put so much effort in, I'm super proud.
00:14It just worked, just for him to get the reward for all the effort he's put in and the sacrifice,
00:19the dedication he's put in, the things he's missed out on over the years, for his dedication,
00:24yeah he deserves it.
00:25The medalists swore their hardware with pride and the WA government is working to ensure
00:30there's more in the future.
00:31We will spend over $20 million over the next four years to significantly underpin their
00:36funding, make sure we have more money to put into the programs so that not only do we support
00:41the great athletes of today, but we are growing the terrific athletes of the future.
00:46While the athletes basked in their achievements in Paris, the 2028 games in Los Angeles loom.
00:52In four years, the Olympics return to the United States, but boxing is in doubt.
00:57I definitely hope it stays because I'm still 22, I can't wait to go for another cycle and
