00:00A man is facing several cases after he stole a motorcycle in Quezon City.

00:06The suspect was caught with a gun that was also stolen.

00:15In the CCTV footage, a man was walking in Barangay Santo Domingo, Quezon City

00:22when he saw that he was on the motorcycle that he passed by.

00:26A few minutes later, the man came back but he was wearing a different outfit and his face was swollen.

00:33Later, he stole the white motorcycle.

00:36While we were patrolling the area, a civilian approached us.

00:44Allegedly, he was the victim of motornapping.

00:49According to the victim, he just stole the motorcycle in front of an establishment.

00:54We can see in his modus, before he committed the crime, he was doing surveillance or spotting if there is a victim.

01:07As you can see, he changed his clothes before he committed the crime.

01:12When the incident was investigated, the suspect matched the suspects in other dashcam videos

01:18and in the CCTV footage of his theft.

01:22He was arrested and sentenced for follow-up operation.

01:26The motorcycle, bag, and picklock that he used to ride the motorcycle were recovered from the suspect.

01:33He was also caught with a gun that was also stolen.

01:37Before the motorcycle was stolen, there was a report here in Lalawa Police Station

01:43that there was a robbery in an establishment that was being watched by security guards.

01:51The gun was owned by a security agency that was stolen by the suspect.

01:59The suspect is notorious for robberies in the QC.

02:02This is the first time that a 28-year-old man has been arrested.

02:08Previously, he was arrested for robbery, theft,

02:13bowsing, gambling, and republican 9-1-6 piracy in smuggling and selling drugs.

02:21The suspect refused to give a statement.

02:25The authorities are still investigating if there is a connection to the robbery.

02:29He will face several charges, such as violation of the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016,

02:35robbery, and violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulations Act.
