00:00Here's today's Derbyshire Times video bulletin. Chesterfields MP has issued an update regarding
00:06the long-awaited Staveley Bypass project following concerns over its future. After the Government
00:11announced budget cuts and the cancellation of the Restoring Your Railway scheme, worries were
00:16raised about the future of other transport projects. Local residents were particularly
00:20concerned about the £166 million Staveley Bypass which is designed to ease traffic in the town
00:26as well as in surrounding areas including Brimmington. Chesterfield MP Toby Perkins
00:31has now set up a meeting with Transport Minister Lillian Greenwood to discuss the issue.
00:36Mr Perkins said,
00:56A unique building in Derbyshire is going up for auction with a guide price of £75,000.
