00:00What is up guys, Dropfreak here, and welcome back to Otaku Podcast Network. I hope everyone
00:09is having a great Friday so far.
00:16We are back this week with another movie review for you all this week, and that movie is the
00:202019 Disney movie, Descendants 3.
00:29This is one movie that I have been meaning to get around to for years now, and I just
00:32never found the time to watch it until now. For anyone new to the podcast, I will say
00:36that I certainly would consider myself a Disney adult, so I am a fan of pretty much all things
00:41Disney. Given that I had not returned to this franchise in a while, I wasn't sure if I was
00:45going to enjoy the movie or not, because I had forgotten a little of the story. But I
00:49must say that I really enjoyed the movie, and I found it pretty enjoyable.
00:58I thought that Princess Audrey, played by Sarah Jeffery, really made for a good villain,
01:03and also was a good symbol of how someone good can quickly go bad or evil, no matter
01:07where they are born or who their parents are.
01:14It should come as no surprise, but one of the major highlights of this movie was certainly
01:18the music which I thought shined throughout the whole movie. My favourite song would probably
01:23be Queen of Mean. I loved the hip-hop style it had.
01:31I will say the movie did feel like it was paced a bit fast at times, and that there
01:35were parts of the story that felt like it needed a few more scenes. But given that it
01:39was a TV movie, it does make sense that it was moving a bit fast.
01:48Chyna Ann McLean also shined as Uma again, and that role really was perfect for her.
01:58Before I wrap up the review, I can't go without mentioning the late Cameron Boyce
02:02who passed away before the movie premiered. As someone who has been watching him as an
02:06actor since he was on Jesse, it was great to see him in a role that you can tell he
02:10really enjoyed, but it also really hits you that this was his last role, and he didn't
02:15get to see how well he did in the movie. He really was shining as an actor as this
02:19role really showed off his skill.
02:26Overall I thought it was a good wrap-up to the trilogy, and it had a happy ending that
02:29I thought was fitting. If you have never seen it or just haven't seen it in a while,
02:34I think it's worth a watch or revisit.
02:41Once again thank you all for listening to the podcast. Don't forget to follow us on

02:58shows.
