00:00Welcome back everyone maximum effort Marvel revealed another alternate ending that they
00:24had planned for Deadpool and Wolverine with a really, really big deleted.
00:29Like a ton of alternate characters.
00:31So will break it all down because it is crazy.
00:34It also confirms a couple theories from early on when we first heard they were going to
00:37be bringing back all these legacy Marvel characters from before the MCU existed.
00:42Even though there were a lot of MCU jokes in the movie there even a couple really weird
00:47but really cool deep cut characters in this from the comics that didn't make the final
00:50cut to that work from previous movies.

00:58There are so many different versions of this movie.
01:01We will probably keep hearing about all the deleted scenes and characters into next year.
01:06There was so much stuff that didn't make it into the final cut of this movie.
01:09You can make an entire movie with the deleted scenes is kind of like Avengers infinity war
01:13and Avengers endgame like topping the list of different Marvel movies with alternate
01:18versions of the movie inside the movie itself Spider-Man no way home was a good version
01:22that to there were like 10 different versions that movie one point, but this one is primarily
01:27focused on a single scene in particular.
01:30It's totally alternate version of the final battle scene between Deadpool Wolverine and
01:34the entire Deadpool core is completely different from the one that made it into the final cut
01:39of the movie.
01:40This scene looks like a more direct parody of the Avengers endgame portal scene like
01:44it was meant to look like a one to one kind of thing.
01:47Notice the battlefield seems like it's still on the void because everything on the battlefield
01:51looks so destroyed, but it looks just like the battlefield at the end of Avengers endgame
01:55most of the key characters are different.
01:58Also in the final version.
01:59The movie is just Deadpool and Wolverine versus the Deadpool core in that long wonder tracking
02:04shot fighting the Deadpool core.
02:05It's a great scene.
02:06I love the final version, but it's nuts seeing some of the alternate versions that they had
02:10planned for that scene.
02:12You can kind of tell this is from a version the movie that was meant to be wildly different
02:15than the one we saw in theaters.
02:17This version looks like it was going to be a much bigger fight scene involving the entire
02:21resistance group of variants on the void fighting with Deadpool and Wolverine after
02:25the last battle at the dead Ant-Man and there is so much going on in this version of the
02:31final battle.
02:32So just starting with the biggest new stuff zoom and enhance like there's gonna be a lot
02:36of zooming enhancing here notice in the background behind Wolverine.
02:39They said that this was meant to be Nicolas Cage's version of ghostwriter I think because
02:44this scene is meant to involve the resistance group that confirms that Nicolas Cage's ghostwriter
02:48was supposed to be on an early version of the resistance group before they change the
02:52roster you do see him fighting with his chain, but is also fighting a new Deadpool variant.
02:58This is also a super big deep cut from the comics to some you will recognize this instantly,
03:03but if you don't read the comics this variant is the champion of the universe from the comics
03:08real name Trico slatter us who was originally one of the elders of the universe like one
03:13of the people in the Thanos infinity gauntlet saga of comics who wielded the infinity stones
03:18during that original comic book version that they adapted for the movies Thanos had to
03:22go around killing the elders of the universe to take their infinity stones to form the
03:26infinity gauntlet the champion was the one who held the power gem in that version in
03:30the movies they changed it so that they were called infinity stones not infinity gems in
03:35the power stone was kept on Xandar which Thanos wound up destroying to take before the beginning
03:41of infinity war that is like a whole other deleted scene I've done many videos about
03:45after infinity war came out in theaters is crazy.
03:49They play like a whole different version the beginning of that movie.
03:52But here's the thing about this version of the champion in Deadpool and Wolverine.
03:56He's actually called champion pool because these are all meant to be Deadpool variants
04:00and he's from the Deadpool core comic book number two issue where the champion became
04:06part of the Deadpool core briefly.
04:08Now here's the thing.
04:09This is why is such a big deep cut.
04:10He was never a Fox Marvel character or part of any of the pre MCU movies.
04:15This would have been the first ever appearance of him in live action movies like ever, which
04:20is probably one of the reasons why they cut him from the final version the movie like
04:24way too confusing for non comic book fans who would probably just thought that he was
04:28another Deadpool in the original issue where he joined the Deadpool core and started wearing
04:33the Deadpool suit.
04:34He didn't get Deadpool powers like he just literally put the suit on and Deadpool started
04:38calling him champion pool randomly in the final version the movie all the Deadpool core
04:43members outside of Peter like Peter pool were meant to be actual variants of Deadpool
04:48in some way like actual versions of Wade Wilson from other universes next big deep cut deleted
04:53scene notice in the forefront to the left is Ben Affleck's daredevil.
04:58So I talked about this a long time before the movie came out because Ben Affleck was
05:01actually spotted on the set of the movie while they were filming it.
05:04So people like wait a minute is Ben Affleck actually gonna be in the movie is his daredevil
05:08that will be crazy.
05:14In the final version the movie we had Electra with Jennifer Garner who was married to Ben
05:19Affleck in real life since the events of their original daredevil movie and the Electra movie.
05:24That's one of the reasons why she had that joke about Ben Affleck's daredevil when Deadpool
05:28was asking about him daredevil like is dead.
05:30Oh my God is terrible and she said oh that's okay because in real life they since got divorced
05:35a long time ago.
05:36Probably one of the funniest jokes in the movie, but you wouldn't really know that if
05:39you didn't know that they had been married and divorced the writers did say for a while
05:44they were going to put Ben Affleck's daredevil in the actual movie.
05:47But for whatever reason talks broke down before he actually wound up in the movie and I think
05:52the reason why he actually visited the set is because he was visiting Jennifer Garner
05:56while she was filming her scenes with their children that they share together fun fact
06:00to Jennifer Garner has been posting a bunch a bunch of behind the scenes videos all them
06:05very funny.
06:06But in one of the scenes she reveals that she actually thought that the scarlet witch
06:10statue from Doctor strange multiverse of madness was actually Blake Lively's statue like she
06:16thought that this version of scarlet which was meant to be a version of Blake Lively
06:20after she posted her video somebody corrected her she gave like a big thumbs up like oh
06:24thank you.
06:25So she felt that entire movie thinking that that was Blake Lively that would've actually
06:29been pretty funny, but right above Ben Affleck's daredevil is Deadpool dinosaur the T-Rex here
06:36that's his name from the comics is just called Deadpool dinosaur, but he is a T-Rex version
06:40of Deadpool.
06:41Not a lot is written about his backstory in the Deadpool comics like he just shows up
06:45one day in the Deadpool core and you're meant to assume he came from a world where dinosaurs
06:49were supreme.
06:51They've done that trope on a billion other TV shows and movies before like they literally
06:55just did something like that on invincible season two when angstrom Levy through invincible
06:59to another reality where dinosaurs evolved instead of people.
07:02So they're super smart and they can talk I'm assuming Deadpool dinosaur came from a world
07:11like that in the comics though all the backstories of the Deadpool core members are meant to
07:16be parodies of the original Deadpool origin story right above him at the top left of the
07:21frame is squirrel pool.
07:23He only appeared like one comic book issue like briefly blink and you'll miss it.
07:28Deadpool kills Deadpool issue for he fights bird pool then gets killed off and like that's
07:33it like that's the joke that he hates birds like most variants of Deadpool.
07:37He has a tiny pair of katanas the same mask in the tiny belt of pouches like they be that
07:41joke with dog pool like the tiny belt of pouches, but that's kind of a joke for all the versions
07:45of Deadpool in the Deadpool core.
07:47They all have either katanas or guns like Deadpool the mask and the belt of pouches
07:53mostly because of the Rob Liefeld pouches jokes.
07:56Also the feet jokes to the biggest Rob Liefeld joke in the actual movie was the feet joke,
08:01but another long-running gag on Rob Liefeld is his pouches.
08:05Essentially, if you've never read any of Rob Liefeld's actual comics.
08:09Most of his characters have crazy pouches and there's a bunch of other stuff on here
08:13to but just focusing on the new stuff that didn't actually make the movie.
08:17There are a bunch of different lightsabers.
08:20The biggest being kid pools twin lightsabers from the comics.
08:24If you not a big comic book reader kid pool is a teenage version of Deadpool from the
08:27comics who fights with twin lightsabers canonically when he was created by Marvel in 2010.
08:34It was before Disney bought Star Wars.
08:36So at the time it was much bigger shot at Star Wars like a bigger parody of non Disney
08:40Star Wars Disney didn't actually buy Star Wars until about 2012 in the movie kid pool
08:46was played by Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's real-life daughter and Nez Reynolds.
08:51This is Ryan Reynolds on set like leaning down to give her direction before their big
08:54fight scene because she did have some speaking lines where she makes fun of Ryan Reynolds
08:58main version of Deadpool basically another but stuff joke involving Wolverine doing Deadpool
09:03funny that he would give his real-life daughter aligned allowed her to make fun of him so
09:08hard Ryan Reynolds Sean Levy said they originally wanted Walker Skull Bell as kid pool because
09:14of his original Deadpool monologue joke from their Adam project movie a couple years ago.
09:19He recited the entire opening monologue of Deadpool 2 where he complained about Hugh
09:23Jackman dying in Logan.
09:25It was mostly making fun of Hugh Jackman, but I posted that entire parody video on my
09:29channel a couple years ago.
09:31So I'll link it in the description below so you can watch the entire thing is actually
09:34pretty good Ryan Reynolds barely makes it through his entire monologue before he cracks
09:38up laughing in that movie Walker Skull Bell played a younger version of Ryan Reynolds
09:44characters like he was a mini Ryan Reynolds of the idea was is they had such a fun time
09:48working together.
09:49They like Walker Skull Bell so much and Sean Levy also directed that movie in addition
09:53to Deadpool Wolverine the like what we just reunite the team and bring Walker Skull Bell
09:57back but because it took so many years to actually make Deadpool Wolverine in that time
10:02Walker Skull Bell grew big time.
10:04So they'd actually had him in the movie he would've been big enough to look like another
10:07adult version of Deadpool like you would've lost all the kid pool jokes and they want
10:11to like a little tiny kid pool.
10:13So that's why kid pool wound up being Ryan Reynolds real-life daughter because she's
10:17so little, but in the movie she just has the normal guns like not actual lightsabers.
10:22Most people felt like this was a huge missed opportunity because now the Disney own Star
10:26Wars and they own Marvel it should be way easier for them to do lightsabers without
10:30getting their pants sued off my guess is they chose to remove them for budget reasons
10:34like Ryan Reynolds said one of the biggest reasons why some of the cameos didn't make
10:37it is because of budget they want to keep the movie around $200 million in even though
10:42special effects visual effects have gotten way better recently cheaper to do certain
10:46things is still really expensive to do lightsaber effects next big lightsaber like those are
10:51the only lightsabers zoom and enhance up of the top of the frame here.
10:55There's a third one behind blade it's blue and it looks like it's being wielded by a
10:59lady pool variant the one behind Wesley Snipes blade.
11:03It's cool to see that he was always in the movie like they always plan on doing a version
11:06of blade my guess is that this lightsaber got removed for similar reasons like just
11:11too much money.
11:12Also they probably only wanted the one lady pool variant played by Blake Lively Ryan Reynolds
11:17real-life wife head pool here was in the final version the movie played by Nathan Fillion
11:21of all people that feels crazy like it the biggest actor you can imagine playing a role
11:26that nobody would recognize unless they saw him in the credits because he's doing a different
11:30voice
11:36let me know in the comments if you knew that it was Nathan Fillion before you saw the credits
11:40personally I actually thought that was going to be Nolan North just because it sounded
11:43a little bit like Nolan Norse version of Deadpool that was kind of like the Matthew McConaughey
11:48cowboy pool twist like it the biggest actor you can imagine for the smallest cameo role
11:53ever like Brad Pitt's cameo in Deadpool 2 is the banisher two-second blink and you'll
11:58miss it kind of cameo probably one of the other biggest changes.
12:01It looks like Chris Evans Johnny storm from fantastic four was meant to survive the entire
12:05movie till the final battle and fight with that resistance group against all the Deadpool
12:10variants maybe that's why in the script all the resistance group fighters were talking
12:14about Johnny like he been part of their team like he was originally meant to fight in that
12:18final battle.
12:20You can see his fire leaving a trail across the entire battlefield in the background here
12:24with him burning the hell out of this Deadpool variant.
12:27My guess is that in this version the movie his post credit scene would have had to have
12:31been a little different because in the final version the movie it was him for telling his
12:34death like Deadpool proving that all the terrible stuff that he said about Cassandra Nova was
12:38true Chris Evans actually joked that one of his requirements for actually being in the
12:43movie was that they had to leave in his post credit scene where he got to be super foul
12:48mouth and he wanted it to be a super foul mouth cameo seat like they want them to water
12:52down at all all because he never got to be like that with his Captain America like his
12:57whole thing was the language joke.
12:59So this Chris Evans fantastic four post credit scene was always meant to be the post credit
13:04scene like it had to be the post credit scene at the beginning, but it probably changed
13:08what was actually happening in the scene itself because Sean Levy said that Ryan Reynolds
13:12actually wrote all the nasty stuff the Chris Evans said in the actual final version the
13:16movie the date right before he filmed it meaning they probably had another version
13:20that scene ready to go.
13:22No idea what he would've been doing instead of all this foul mouth stuff while he was
13:26in the ball here probably like a less foul sounding version this you just have to imagine
13:30Chris Evans telling him on the phone no no more language dial it way up like make it
13:34way crazier down at the bottom right here dog pool also looks much more like comic book
13:40dog pool from the Deadpool core.
13:42I'm guessing they figured this scene out before they actually cast the real life dog that
13:46played dog pool in the movie.
13:48Also notice what's missing in this scene.
13:50It looks like early on they didn't have Channing Tatum's gambit no X-23.
13:55So my guess is that's who they swapped ghostwriter and Ben Affleck's daredevil for in the script.
14:00There probably a bunch of different versions that resistance team just based on all the
14:03deleted scenes that they've been talking about they name drop Quicksilver Magneto to I wouldn't
14:08be surprised if they had versions of them in the movie at one point.
14:11There were like five different credited writers on the movie.
14:14Like if you heard about different versions of the movie before it came out.
14:18Those are probably correct and just happen to be one of the versions the movie before
14:21it got changed again.
14:23One of the weird things though Halle Berry said that Ryan Reynolds never asked her to
14:27be in the movie and I actually believe her like I don't think she's lying about everything.
14:31My guess is that might have something to do with Wesley Snipes blade cameo because if
14:36he was always going to be in the movie like from the very beginning supposedly he and
14:40Halle Berry have some real life drama that goes way way back to when she was really really
14:44young.
14:45Maybe that's why he didn't ask her to be in the movie or maybe it was just purely a budgetary
14:49thing because that's the reason why a lot of like the real big X-Men characters didn't
14:53show up in the movie generally just because of budget.
14:57That's the whole reason why he had the Johnny Storm Chris Evans joke.
15:00Do you know what he was doing to the budget of this movie.
15:03That's one of the reasons why they probably killed him off quicker.
15:05I've already done like a whole other deleted scenes alternate ending video because are
15:09like a couple different versions of the ending of this movie.

15:14One of them involving a whole lot of Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man.
15:17That's right Iron Man was originally going to be in this movie.
