00:00Thanks for joining us, Ailish, after a massive elimination final win for Chlora Nerode against

00:04Timboon Demons.

00:05How are you feeling?

00:06Good.

00:07It was a good win.

00:08It was a very hard-fought game, so credit to Timboon because they put on a good game

00:09for us today and I think it was a real team effort, so it was unreal.

00:14Good.

00:15And it's been a bit of redemption for Chlora.

00:16I know you weren't part of the team last year, you've just joined, but they lost to Timboon

00:21in the final last year.

00:22So what does it mean for the girls?

00:23Yes.

00:24I think there was a lot of nerves coming into the game just from that mental load of losing

00:29it this time last year with the elimination, but the girls are really, really proud of

00:33themselves.

00:34A lot of talk this week was to forget about last year and just to focus on this year and

00:38the team that we have and to focus on ourselves and I think everyone did that really well

00:43today.

00:44And you've been playing in the backcourt alongside the coach.

00:46How's that been going?

00:47Good.

00:48She's unreal.

00:49She sets me up for a lot, so it's great to play alongside her.

00:52She's got great knowledge, she's a really supportive coach and lucky enough to travel

00:58down from Geelong with her most weekends as well, so yeah, she's fantastic.

01:03And up the other end of the court today, the gold duo worked really well.

01:06What did you think they did?

01:07Yeah, they did.

01:08Those two are a new combination this year and each week they bring it, they step up.

01:12They work so well with each other.

01:14I know Matilda Curran is an under-17 who stepped up to the senior side this year and Lily Burke

01:19has really taken her under her wing and guided her through and I think that was shown today

01:23with how excellent they handled themselves, especially with a high-pressure game.
