00:00I do not like those who think of the past of India as just junk.

00:06There is stuff in the past that you must immensely respect.

00:11We are talking of the Gita, we are talking of the Upanishads, we are talking of our great

00:15philosophers and mathematicians and scientists.

00:19Why must we not be proud of them?

00:21I am proud of a Karnava, an Ashtavakra, a Kapila, a Kanad.

00:26Maybe all the Rishis of the Upanishads, they are the ones I am proud of.

00:29I am proud of Sushruta, I am proud of Aryabhat, they are the ones I am really proud of.

00:35There is a lot in our past we can justifiably be proud of and I have just thrown a few names

00:40at you.

00:41There are dozens of such great names but they are not valued.
