चेन्नई. केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री एल. मुरुगन ने सोमवार को कहा कि कलाकार सिक्का लॉन्च समारोह में केंद्रीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह की भागीदारी को गैर-राजनीतिक नजरिए से देखा जाना चाहिए। चेन्नई में प्रेस से बात करते हुए एल. मुरुगन ने कहा, “सिक्का केवल कलाकार के लिए जारी नहीं किया जाता है। हमने डॉ. अंबेडकर, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्रियों कामराज, एमजीआर, पूर्व राष्ट्रपति अब्दुल कलाम और अन्य को सिक्के जारी किए हैं। तमिलनाडु सरकार ने कलाकार सिक्का जारी करने का कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया और हमने केंद्र सरकार की ओर से इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया।
एआईएडीएमके महासचिव एडपाडी पलनीस्वामी के डीएमके और बीजेपी के बीच अप्रत्यक्ष गठबंधन वाले बयान को लेकर पूछे गए सवाल का जवाब देते हुए एल मुरुगन ने कहा कि हमें इस कार्यक्रम को गैर-राजनीतिक नजरिए से देखना होगा। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने तमिलनाडु सरकार द्वारा आयोजित सिक्का लॉन्च समारोह में भाग लेते हुए 100 रुपये का सिक्का जारी किया।
