00:00So tell me, how do you see artificial intelligence transforming your industry over the next few years?
00:07That's a great question. I think artificial intelligence is actually already in our industry,
00:12which is the rail freight business, but there's so much more that we can continue to do, right?
00:16You have to be flexible and think about how can we use technology to help figure out where we're
00:22moving rail cars, how we're loading rail cars, where do our shippers, our customers want the
00:27rail cars to go, how can that inform them with how much product they need to produce so it can
00:34go in rail cars? I mean all of those things, when you think about how technology has changed our
00:39lives, when we're buying things on the internet and you can just pull up your phone and look at
00:44it and go, oh that box is arriving on my doorstep in 20 minutes. We're trying to bring that into the
00:50rail freight business where those shippers can know where is their product and when's it going
00:54to go to the next place, which will just continue to drive the economy. So is there anything specific
00:59with AI that you see being used in your business and in the industry? I think that we can use AI to
01:10think about what's going to drive demand, right? To be able to process, there's so much out there
01:15when it comes to data and information, so using AI to sort through that quicker than any of us could,
01:22but then you put human eyes on it to figure out does it really make sense or not. So I don't see
01:26it shifting to being all AI and totally automated, but how can you use
01:34the computing power to inform our decisions faster.
