00:00 What's the strategy that the job seeker needs to use

00:09 but to polish their resume using AI skills?
00:12 I mean, AI tools, that's really what I want to understand.
00:15 - Sure, so one, you gotta go where the tools are
00:19 and where tools are easy to use, right?
00:20 So one of the things that we've implemented
00:22 in our platform is helping you build out your profile
00:27 so that you can actually identify
00:29 and market your skills better.
00:30 So we've got an AI tool that will help you
00:32 fill out your profile based on the skills that you have.
00:35 You can go in and see how are these skills transferable.
00:37 AI will help you do that.
00:39 It will even do some things like,
00:41 if you want to try to get that cold email
00:43 to reach out to someone,
00:45 then we've got a tool that will also help you
00:47 write that first email, right?
00:49 You've got a connection to this person.
00:50 You both went to the same school.
00:51 You both lived in the same city.
00:53 Maybe start your email out with,
00:55 "Hey, we worked at this place at the same time," right?
00:58 The AI tool will help you do some of those things.
01:01 Building those skills like that.
01:02 I think the other thing that you've gotta do is
01:05 you've gotta race with the machine and not against it.
01:08 So there's tons of AI tools and solutions
01:12 that can help you not just build a better resume,
01:15 but tell a better story about your skills
01:18 and a better story about how your skills
01:21 have been used in other companies
01:23 and other opportunities to drive results.
01:26 The last thing I would say is talk to your network.
01:30 Talk to other people who are in your industry
01:32 about how are you using AI?
01:34 What tools are you using?
01:35 What's working for you?
01:36 What's not working for you?
01:38 Your network really matters.
01:40 'Cause many of us are peer-to-peer mentoring each other
01:44 and we're sharing information in ways
01:46 that helps us then all sort of grow and rise together.
01:50 So your network is really helpful for that.
01:53 - So how does a person who's looking for a job
01:57 use AI to better match their skill with the job market?
02:02 - I think AI is embedded into a bunch of tools
02:08 that will help you search for work.
02:10 Like if you take a look at our LinkedIn values matching tool
02:14 like if you are searching for a job,
02:16 it will literally allow you to do a dropdown
02:19 that will say I'm really, really interested in roles
02:23 where diversity inclusion is a priority
02:26 or I'm really looking for remote work or hybrid work.
02:29 Using tools like that that have AI embedded in them,
02:34 they're helping you all around.
02:35 So I think that matching up this job for these skills,
02:39 some of that is already embedded in how you search for work
02:41 on platforms like LinkedIn and potentially others as well.
