00:00This is Ria for Derby World. I'm at House Boat Derby, the new restaurant in town.
00:06It's the opening night and I've just had supper here and it's been a really
00:11really good experience. So me and my dining partner we shared the House Boat
00:16special platter and that was the had chicken 65, chilli chicken, some beef
00:23fry and it was a lovely selection of meat. Favourite at the table was the
00:31Malabar prawns for a main and I had the prawn masala curry. That's in a gravy
00:38filled with tomatoes, ginger and garlic and that was beautiful. That's one of the
00:43best curries I've had in a while. Really fragrant and really garlicky and nice
00:49and fiery too. The side I had was rice. Now it's not just normal rice, this is called
00:55Nei Choru rice. That's basmati with ghee and spices and garnished with onions.
01:02I did like how they added mace and elaichi as well. So overall it's been a
01:10really really great dining experience at House Boat Derby based on Peter Street.
01:14I'd highly recommend you coming here.
