00:00What would you like to do in the music industry?
00:02You don't really do it.
00:08I chose this course.
00:10Game Development.
00:12And I really like it.
00:14This is our capstone, our thesis.
00:16I did something,
00:18we did something as a group.
00:20It's an advertisement game for Mateos.
00:22Because
00:24one of my professors advised us
00:26to try this advert game because
00:28it's a budget game.
00:30It's in the right
00:32requirement.
00:34So we made
00:36a game called
00:38The Boy Wanderer.
00:40We just defended on August 8th.
00:42And we won.
00:44And the grades were high. I think we got 93.
00:46And
00:48I was really lucky because
00:50I fell twice on my capstone hunt.
00:52I had a hard time.
00:54I didn't know what to do.
00:56So we decided to form a group.
00:58My professor advised us to
01:00form a group because he knows
01:02what's best for us.
01:04And when we did it,
01:06it was a success.
01:08And it was one of the
01:10deadliest screenings.
01:12What would you like to do in the music industry?
01:14You don't really do it.
01:16You don't really do it.
01:18That's the concept.
01:20That's the paper that
01:22backed the game.
01:24I'm saying that, yes,
01:26there are a lot of artists who promote
01:28their games.
01:30But they're just skits.
01:32But the game I'm going to make
01:34revolves around them.
01:36Because the game we made,
01:38it's not one-on-one.
01:40But the story of my career is there.
01:42It's a narrative game.
01:44So it's fun
01:46to make it for other artists.
01:48Especially for fake artists.
01:50Now, a lot of people want to know
01:52how they came up with these sounds.
01:54And
01:56that's another
01:58way of marketing something
02:00that's interactive
02:02and immersive.
02:04Because, of course,
02:06the other ads,
02:08sponsored ads,
02:10they just click it.
02:12You're already in the music.
02:14But in the game we made,
02:16what we're saying in the paper is
02:18what if you put
02:20a PS or exclusive snippet
02:22of a song
02:24for your fans to play it.
02:26When they play it,
02:28every level they finish
02:30there's a snippet of the song
02:32or there's an unreleased picture
02:34or you can play the
02:36photo card.
02:38There's a lot
02:40that can go to that concept.
02:42And I hope it becomes more mainstream.
02:44Because now it's not mainstream.
02:46I hope it becomes mainstream.
02:48For the artist or the music itself.
02:50It will just go around.
