00:00We are back here at Fast Talk with Boya Bunda with Maria Ozawa.
00:12You had a very public relationship with Jose Sarasola.
00:16What did you learn from that and how easy or how difficult was the breakup?
00:22Well, I learned a lot because the culture, first off, was very, very different.
00:29But in a way, I think we learned a lot in our differences.
00:35He, I think, understood more about the Japanese culture.
00:38I understand more about his culture, the Filipino culture, which was good.
00:44But which was hard also because everything is different,
00:47like in relationship-wise or business-wise or as like a human.
00:54Of course, it's different.
00:55So it's not like nobody's bad.
00:57Nobody's not bad, but it was just hard to blend in.
01:02The breakup was easy, was difficult?
01:05Actually, it wasn't anything bad at all because I went back to Japan because of the pandemic.
01:10OK.
01:11And when I went back that time, I didn't know when I could come back to the Philippines
01:15and there was no way any foreigners would be able to come to Japan.
01:21So it was just like a mutual decision.
01:24And we talked about it and we decided to break up because we didn't see any future.
01:32I mean, we didn't know what to do about it.
01:35But it was just nothing third wheel or whatever.
01:39Yeah.
01:39It's actually very hard to ask that question because no breakup is easy.
01:42Oh, yeah.
01:43You invest a lot of time, a lot of love, a lot of respect for each other.
01:48Let's talk about men.
01:50OK.
01:50What do you know about men, for sure?
01:52Not necessarily Filipino men.
01:54We'll talk about that later, but men in general.
01:56In general?
01:57Yes.
02:01I guess I don't know anything about it because I'm still single.
02:05But it's really hard to understand them.
02:12What don't you understand about men?
02:16Well, they're very different from women, of course.
02:21And sometimes I just feel like I just want to like, you know,
02:25just check what they're thinking, like everything.
02:29Sometimes it's like it's very, very different.
02:31Sometimes it's very similar.
02:32It's like it's there's no same.
02:36So it's so hard to...
02:38What is your type of a man?
02:39Type of a man?
02:44Who understands when women are like, or when I'm saying,
02:52I really concentrate on like working and business is very important
02:57and people who's not too conservative.
02:59You should respect that.
03:00The people who should not be too?
03:02Conservative.
03:03Oh, OK.
03:04Especially in Japan, they still have...
03:08Well, it's our culture.
03:09So I don't want to say anything against it.
03:12But, you know, women's supposed to be housewives.
03:15They should stay home.
03:17And those kind of mindset is OK because that's...
03:21That's part of the culture.
03:22Yes.
03:23I don't mind at all.
03:24But for me, I want somebody who will be supportive with me and independent.
03:28And you're very liberated.
03:30Yes.
03:30And you're adventurous.
03:32Yes, very.
03:32You're very experimental, as you said.
03:34Yes.
04:07Yes.
