00:00The Department of Budget and Management or DBM has already released 94.2 percent or 5.4 trillion

00:07pesos of the national budget for the year 2024. DBM Secretary Amina Pangandaman says this is part

00:14of the effective implementation of the many programs of government agencies. Included in

00:20this year's budget are funds for the National Tax Allotment, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim

00:26Mindanao and infrastructure projects of both the Departments of Public Works and Highways or DPWH

00:32and the Department of Transportation or DOTR. Also social programs like assistance to individuals

00:40in crisis situations, tupad and medical assistance received funding. The DBM is

00:45monitoring the supposed underspending of some government agencies.
