00:00The Milwaukee Brewers, oh no, Kristen Yellich down for the season with a back injury, right?
00:07This baseball team off, Craig, winners of six straight games, 73 wins on the season,
00:11and before he can blink now, 11 and a half game lead over the Chicago Cubs in 12 games
00:16over the Cardinals.
00:18This team is built for postseason baseball, Craig, because it feels like every day it's
00:202-1, 3-2, 4-3 victories here.
00:23What can we anticipate from the Milwaukee Brewers, and could they be in contention to
00:26do some damage here in the NL?
00:28Yeah, look, I think it is possible.
00:31You know, I would not have them as the favorites, but I think this is probably, Donnie, one
00:36of the teams in baseball that has been doubted from the beginning of the season right up
00:41until now, and that becomes a dangerous team at some point, because they're like having
00:45the chip on their shoulder type team, no one believes in us.
00:49But if you go back to May, June, we were talking about the Brewers, well, eventually someone's
00:53going to catch them and pass them, it'll be the Reds, it'll be the Cubs, maybe the Pirates.
00:57A lot of them did.
00:58Impressive season.
00:59I mean, is this team going to beat 30 games, over 500 at the end of the year?
01:02It just goes to show you, I mean, guys, think about this for a second.
01:06The president of baseball operations, David Stearns, he left.
01:09He left to go to the Mets.
01:11Their manager, Craig Council, the highest paid manager in the history of baseball, goes
01:14to the Cubs, and they're just as good, if not better, without them.
01:18That just tells you the hierarchy and everything going on in player development, drafting,
01:22et cetera, in that organization is second to none in the National League.
01:26They've done a great job again.
