00:14The allegation was announced by 16 plaintiffs, including former Prime Minister Mirta Vazquez,
00:20the then Foreign Minister Diego Garcia, and former Ambassadors Oswaldo de Rivero and
00:25Harold Forrest.
00:27The communique details that the President is the main culprit of the deaths occurred
00:32during the protests that were held in the country from December 2022 to February 2023.
00:38It also described the situation as a severe damage of the principles of representative
00:43democracy and added that it represents a series of serious human rights violations
00:49that cannot go unpunished.
