00:00The father or stepfather of a 15-year-old woman who was found dead in a building in La Carlota, Negros, Occidental, has spoken.

00:10According to him, he did not kill his stepdaughter, Pearl Joy.

00:15He wants to clear his name and asks for protection because of the charges against his life.

00:21He said that after he was considered by the NBI as one of the persons of interest in the crime.

00:28He is under the custody of the authorities while the investigation is ongoing.

00:32Meanwhile, the La Carlota Police is doing backtracking on some individuals and CCTV footages that may help the case.
