00:00I mean, before Kamala was our nominee, it was two old guys.
00:07It amps us up.
00:08You know, before it was just like, okay, you know, here we go with the same process again
00:13that we had to go through in 2020.
00:15But you know, now I feel like, you know, rejuvenated.
00:17And my friends were talking about it more.
00:20It's like, it's more than just politics.
00:21It's like, now we see how it relates to us because we see ourselves in a position of
00:25power.
00:27Before, when Joe Biden was still our candidate, most of the TikTok videos that were about
00:32Joe Biden were negative.
00:33Now most of the TikTok videos that are about Kamala Harris are positive.
00:38So the tides have completely turned in the opposite direction.
00:41I think Kamala as a candidate is more reflective of young America.
00:45You know, we're one of the most diverse generations.
00:47We're, I mean, she's also like, you know, the child of immigrants, which is something
00:50that I feel like is definitely resonates with a lot of Americans, a lot of my friends that
00:54are also immigrants and people of color.
00:57So I think she's just genuinely a more exciting candidate to vote for than Biden was.
01:01Young voters are a lot more excited about Kamala Harris because we believe she is more
01:06amenable to issues, all the issues like reproductive freedom and climate change mentioned before,
01:12and most immediately, an urgency, saving lives by ending the genocide in Gaza.
01:17Except, I hope, smell your child's name, which I do.
