00:00Nicolás Maduro led the ceremony of unveiling the statue of Comandante Hugo Chávez in the
00:04state of La Guaira to commemorate the victory of the Bolivarian Revolution.
00:08Opening his arrival to the Bolívar Chávez Square, the president was received with joy
00:13by the Guaicaimacuto people who rise slogans in support of his popular victory in the presidential
00:21elections of last July the 28th. In this sense, the head of state affirmed that the legacy of Hugo
00:26Chávez will prevail in the hearts of the people in the fight against the attempt to generate
00:31violence by the Venezuelan ultra-right and its American allies. Also, the president,
00:35Nicolás Maduro, expressed his respect to the public powers of the country and to the
00:40definitive sentence issued by the Supreme Court of Justice on the electoral dispute.
00:50In Venezuela, the president of the National Assembly, Jorge RodrĂguez,
00:53denounced that the extreme right in Venezuela doesn't recognize the judgment of the Supreme
00:58Court of Justice on the results of the July 28 elections. During a session of the National
01:03Assembly, RodrĂguez presented the judgment of the electoral chamber of the Supreme Court
01:07ratifying Nicolás Maduro as the re-elected president of the country. Rodríguez denounced
01:12that the far right now pretends not to recognize such ruling.
01:23It turns out that in the United Mexican states, the opposition, with characteristics very similar
01:32to those of this extremist right-wing sector in Venezuela, went to the Supreme Court of Justice
01:37and the superior chamber of the electoral tribunal of the Judiciary of the Federation.
01:42This is the ruling says that the superior chamber of that court in Mexico issued a ruling on the
01:47results of the presidential election of August 14, 2024, which chose elected Claudia Scheinbaum
01:55as president of the Republic of the United Mexican States, and that is a characteristic
02:00of the extreme right-wing. They only recognize elections when they win,
02:04and when they lose the attack, they burn, they assassinate.
02:07In Venezuela, a group of citizens mobilized in the streets of the capital in support of
02:18the Bolivarian government in the enactment of the law against fascism. The United Socialist
02:24Party of Venezuela saluted the Venezuelan people to the Plaza Morelos, where they left
02:28for the corner of San Francisco and downtown Caracas, under the context of the support
02:33to the future approval of the law against fascism, neofascism, and similar expressions
02:38in view of the attack of the extreme right.
02:46On Thursday, the president of the Venezuelan Supreme Court, Cristian Rodriguez, certified
02:52in an unobjectionable way the results of the presidential election by the electoral body
02:57on the elections of July 28. In this regard, the Supreme Court of Justice ratified
03:03the results of the National Electoral Council, where Nicolás Maduro was democratically elected
03:08as president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. This way, the constitutional
03:12organ verified the contentious resources collected in order to certify in an unrestricted
03:18and equivocal manner the results of the electoral process carried out.
03:21The remittal of the final judgment, in which one of its items effectively mentions a communique
03:44that the prosecutor's office issued in a timely manner, which was related to the
03:51investigation that we will brief its advances on due time in the next hours regarding the
03:56usurpation of functions, electoral crimes, conspiracy, among others, caused by those
04:04who apart from having a supervening plan, which consisted of disregarding the legitimate
04:13constituted authority to issue the results. That is the National Electoral Council.
04:21So as they use the electoral issue to escalate in violent,
04:28criminal, terrorist actions, none with a peaceful character.
04:34Venezuelan Foreign Minister Iván Gil thanks the Supreme Court of Justice for showing the world
04:39the results of the July 28 elections.
04:45First of all, I would like to thank the Presidency of the Supreme Court of Justice
04:49and the Presidency of the Electoral Chamber for showing before the eyes of the world.
04:55And we can say that specifically in Venezuela the entire diplomatic
04:59corps accredited to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela was present here.
05:03Well, the outstanding judgment that closes a chapter of the Venezuelan electoral process of
05:08July 28. And we say this because we have seen that at the international level this election
05:16has awakened a really important interest. We have seen how many congratulatory messages we have
05:21received, how many opinions, a constant vision from abroad about our electoral process. And we
05:30have also denounced that the coup d'Ă©tat that was tried to be imposed in Venezuela originated abroad.
