00:00Welcome to Hannity and tonight we are once again broadcasting. We are live. It is the final night
00:04of the DNC in Chicago. Let not your heart be troubled. It's almost over. Anyway, coming up
00:10we're going to have full coverage of the far left demonstrations. Things are getting a little crazy
00:14outside. We'll tell you all about it. We'll have full coverage and also all of the rage
00:20coming from inside this venue. I have a nice monologue I want to share with you tonight.
00:24Live performance from the far left band formerly known as the Dixie Chicks. They will do our
00:29national anthem. That I think is worth listening at any time. But first, before I get to my monologue,
00:36before we get to the national anthem, for a quick synopsis of this convention and where we are,
00:41is Fox News contributor, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. Mr. Speaker, you're missed
00:46here. I know you'd be loved in this building. We appreciate it. You know, as I've watched night
00:52after night after night, one thing has become apparently clear, and I'll go into more detail
00:56in my monologue, is that there's a lot of, there's not a lot of joy here. I mean, there's joy and
01:01people smiling and they're playing music, but a lot of rage on that stage. Not a lot about how
01:08they're going to fix America's problems, inflation, the border, energy, America's place in the world,
01:14law and order. I don't hear a lot about that at all. Well, look, I mean, there are two big facts
01:21about this convention. First is, it's the anti-Trump convention. That's the one thing
01:27that brings all the Democrats together. They're against Trump. The second is that, in fact,
01:35all of their core values are so far away from the American people, they can't talk about them.
01:41So what you end up with is a lot of personality talk, a lot of babble, but none of it relates
01:47to the real world. And if they actually explained what they wanted to do, they would be defeated so
01:54decisively that, just as a practical matter, they can't do it. So they want to run a personality
02:00based campaign. Things like, you know, Coach Waltz, even though he was never actually a coach.
02:06These kind of things are going to be the heart of what they're doing. And they want you to be
02:11distracted with Oprah or Beyonce or anybody except serious political conversation.
02:18The other thing I'd say, Sean, is it really struck me that the Democrats have
02:25continued to be who they are. So you get Pelosi, you get Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton,
02:31the Obamas. The Republican convention, which Calista and I were at, was exactly the opposite.
02:37This is a new Republican Party. It's a populist working party of people who go out every day and
02:44work for a living. It is a profound change from the traditional Republican Party. And I think in
02:50that sense, the difference in the two conventions tells you a lot about what's happening in America.
02:56I'm going to get into the specifics and ask you about the dramatic, the largest tax increase in
03:03the history of the country in the world that Kamala's campaign has put out here. But first,
03:08we're going to turn to the national anthem. That was the national anthem. Dixie Chicks. I think
03:14they have a new name. I forget what it is. Anyway, we go back to Newt Gingrich. And so Kamala's
03:20campaign, again, no interviews, no gaggles, no press conferences at all. And apparently after
03:27the price gauging, as she calls it, a price gouging speech, she's now backing off that.
03:32But they did announce, New York Times, I guess we'll get more of the details. They want to raise
03:37the corporate rate. They want to raise five trillion dollars in new taxes. And I'll go into
03:42the specifics later. The corporate tax, 21 to 28, quadruple the tax on stock buybacks, double
03:49the global minimum tax from 10 to 20 percent. That would take away America's competitiveness,
03:56raise the top income tax rate, raise the corporate minimum tax from 15 to 21,
04:02raise the capital gains tax. Get this, capital gains, 24 to 43.5 percent. And the first ever
04:08tax on unrealized capital gains at 25 percent. Now, that would be, that would make America the
04:17least attractive investment country in the entire world. It would be a destruction of our capitalist
04:25system. Are they serious about this? Because I can't believe they put it in writing.
04:32Well, look, I was surprised. I thought the Harris strategy was to be all personality,
04:41no policy, try to get through the election without admitting how radical they were.
04:46That speech last week in Raleigh, where she outlined her economic plan, that was crazy. I
04:53mean, that was so far to the left of Bernie Sanders that, you know, Gorbachev in Russia
04:59would have thought it was a radical speech. And let me just say to our audience,
05:03you need to understand a 25 percent increase in unrealized capital gains means,
05:10theoretically at least, if your house goes up in price, in value, the government can step in and
05:17say, give me the money. If you don't have the money, the government can step in and say,
05:21give me the house. I mean, this would be the most crazy tax structure we have ever seen.
05:29It makes Venezuela looks normal. It makes Russia look normal. And I, I can't, I really wonder,
05:36I'm going to write about this in the near future, who is sitting in the room? I mean,
05:41how did they cut? I mean, unless they were really doing a lot of drugs,
05:45how did they come up with this? Because it is so crazy. It's so unsustainable.
05:52No serious adult could have come up with this program.
05:56Well, maybe it's incrementalism of what she really wants, which is what she co-sponsored.
06:02The Green New Deal, 93 trillion dollars, cradle to grave, womb to the tomb,
06:07Medicare for all, no private health insurance. Again, the media, state run media mob has,
06:13has ignored all of this. And maybe this is their first step, no?
06:18Well, look, you know, I don't care what the New York Times and the Washington Post covers.
06:26If you threaten people with a 25% tax on any gain, does it count for furniture?
06:34Does it count for your car? Does it count for your house, your family farm? I mean,
06:40and that's annually. So first of all, how are they going to detect it? Are you going to fill
06:46out a form? Is every American in the country going to fill out a form? Are they going to reach
06:50in then and say, give me the money or you're going to seize your property? I mean, this is truly,
07:00every once in a while, the mask comes off and you realize you're dealing with somebody who's crazy.
07:06And of course you have with Waltz, the most radical governor in the country,
07:11far to the left of Bernie Sanders. And you have with Harris, a San Francisco radical.
07:19And now we're beginning to see what that really means.
07:22All right. Former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich. Great to have you as always. We
07:26also tonight turned to a disturbing story. This one out of Arizona, where a man is now in custody
07:32after threatening to assassinate Donald Trump in Arizona. He was down at the border today.
07:37Joining us now with the full report is our very own Kevin Cork. Wow. These are scary times, Kevin.
07:43No question about that, my friend. Good evening to you. 66 year old Ronald Syverud is behind bars
07:48tonight, Sean, after he allegedly threatened to kill former president Trump on social media.
07:53Now Syverud was taken into custody in Cochise County without incident today. That according
07:58to a spokeswoman for the sheriff's office there, the 66 year old has several outstanding warrants
08:04on separate charges, including for a DUI and for failing to appear in court in Wisconsin.
08:11He's also wanted for failing to register as a sex offender, as well as a hit and run in the state of
08:18Arizona. Clearly he's got issues. Now the threat comes just six weeks after former president Trump
08:24survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. Syverud's rap sheet also includes
08:30over a dozen aliases, 17 by my count, and multiple felonies. In case you're wondering, no,
08:37no bond has been set as of this hour. You mentioned it, Sean, the former president was in the great
08:43state of Arizona at the border today. We have also learned tonight from the Trump campaign
08:48that an unnamed special guest is expected to join him at a rally Thursday or make that Friday
08:53afternoon at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale. That announcement comes amid speculation that
08:59independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. may endorse him. Of course,
09:04we'll be there for all the details, but for now, Sean, back to you. All right, Kevin, as always,
09:08thank you. Now, anti-Israel protesters, they have gathered in pretty big numbers tonight again in
09:14the streets of Chicago of our own. Mike Tobin once again live on the ground. Mike, as I was coming in
09:19tonight, I saw a bigger crowd than what I had seen on previous nights. I'm not sure what you're seeing
09:24where you are. Tell us. It certainly is a sizable crowd. It's always tough to give you an accurate
09:31number from inside the ranks of the demonstrators because you're looking at ground view, but
09:36certainly within the thousands. The train's going overhead right now, and that gives you an idea
09:40where we are. We're on Lake Street underneath the L tracks, and they're back here coming in this
09:45direction again in the thousands. They marched along the pre-planned route. They went to their
09:50closest point to the United Center there, and that's Park 578. Stopped for a while. They
09:55chanted. They banged drums. They made noise and then kept on marching. We've got some reports of
10:01skirmishes with the police, things like bottle throwing that came and went that's not confirmed
10:06by the police, but what we've seen for the last couple of nights is they're sticking to the route
10:10and they're marching. They're just trying to get their point out there, and they do believe
10:14they've been successful, referencing that quote from Joe Biden that they've got a point. They
10:19believe they've reached all the way up to the president. They believe they are indeed putting
10:23pressure on the leadership inside of the DNC. One of the things, in fact, let me show you one of the
10:28placards they're handing out. It says abandon Harris in 24, so they're definitely trying to
10:35put some pressure on the politicians in there. The interesting thing, though, is they say abandon
10:39Harris for 24. They're not pro-Trump. Some people have shown up here with Trump signs. They get
10:45shown the bird. They get treated to some kind of flowery language.
10:49As far as whether this will melt down into violence on the last night, really, it's anybody's guess.
10:55We've seen some packs of the kids with the black clad, the hoodies, the keffiyehs on their heads,
11:00the typical uniform that you've come to recognize at this point, and frankly, the organizers,
11:05the spokespeople, they just call that escalation, and they think that gets their point heard.
11:11They say if people are still dying in Gaza, there won't be any business as usual. So they're
11:17not going to shy away from things like vandalism, disruption, escalation, as they call it. So we're
11:23watching it through the night, but they do believe that they've made the point and put some pressure
11:27on the politicians to this point. Sean. All right, Mike, we'll be checking in throughout
11:31the evening. Thank you. Now back to the, well, convention still ongoing behind me,
11:36and there's going to be a lot happening. Kamala Harris speaking later. Despite a promise
11:40of happiness and joy, the theme in this building all week is, frankly, but nothing but hatred and
11:47loathing. Democrats hoping that you hate Donald Trump as much as they do, and that has been and
11:54remains the theme every single night, and it will be so tonight. They want you to hate Donald Trump
12:00so much, you will even vote against what is in your own best interest, policies that will improve
12:06the economy and secure our borders, bring back law and order and safety and security to your town
12:11and city and bring you lower energy prices and, of course, re-establish America's role in the world.
12:17They hope that your hatred of Trump will blind you to the Harris-Biden border crisis. You know,
12:23people with known terror ties in this country confirm, people from countries with terror ties,
12:28our top geopolitical foes, Iran, Syria, Russia, China, Egypt, Afghanistan, they hope that you
12:35ignore that Kamala would like to decriminalize illegal immigration, give free housing, healthcare
12:40education to illegal immigrants. They hope you're not going to notice a running mate is allowing
12:45illegals to get legal driver's licenses and offering in Minnesota free college education,
12:52courtesy of the taxpayers. And, of course, they both support sanctuary cities, states and states,
12:59and they both want amnesty, or what they call a pathway to citizenship, which would be amnesty.
13:05They want you to hate Donald Trump so much that you ignore all the crime in small towns,
13:12big cities. They want you to ignore all of the unvetted Harris-Biden illegals
13:17that we know have been involved in raping and murdering and other violent crimes against
13:22Americans. Thirteen-year-old girl, Queens, New York, Park, broad daylight, raped. Of course,
13:28Lake and Riley, Jocelyn Nungary, 12-year-old girl, tortured for two hours and murdered.
13:36She fought back with all of her might, or maybe Rachel Moore, a mother of five. And the list,
13:42we scroll it so often, of the names you've never heard of before, unvetted Harris-Biden illegals.
13:48You know, they're hoping you hate Trump more than wanting to solve that problem.
13:51They hate that you, you know, they want you to hate him so much that you're going to forget about
13:56the wars raging overseas, happening in large part because of their weakness on the world stage.
14:02And they'd love that your focus only be on the rage they have for Trump, projected onto you,
14:09more than you would say, hate what you see when you go into your local grocery store,
14:14paying more for everything you buy, every store you go to, costs higher.
14:19Harris-Biden inflation. Bidenomics is great, Kamala was telling us. Now she's complaining
14:24about the high cost of things like bread and eggs, etc. Or what about, for example,
14:30the high gas prices, electricity prices, energy prices. It's just killing American families.
14:36Two-thirds of Americans now saying they're gulping water financially. And of course,
14:40they're really hoping that you hate Donald Trump so much that you want more of your hard-earned
14:46money, you know, to go for their cradle-to-grave, womb-to-the-tomb Green New Deal, because Kamala
14:53co-sponsored that bill and Medicare for All, with no private health insurance, and, you know,
14:59obviously showing herself to be the radical and revealing her true self. For example,
15:04look at this headline, this is from tonight. According to the New York Times, Kamala Harris
15:08is poised to enact what would be, pay attention, the biggest tax hike by far in the history of
15:17America. In terms of sheer dollars, the biggest tax hike she is proposing in the entire world.
15:26I can't even believe that they have put this forward. Pay attention to the details. It will
15:31impact, in spite of what they claim, anybody that has a 401k or an IRA or retirement, whatever you
15:38have. And it's, you know, it includes five trillion dollars they want in new taxes, previously
15:47rejected by Congress, but that's even when Democrats controlled both chambers. The difference
15:54is this is a new, radicalized, you know, socialist-slash-communist Democratic Party. Kamala
16:02wants to raise the corporate tax rate from 21 to 28 percent. And by the way, remember corporations,
16:08small businesses, they don't pay taxes. They pass those higher costs on to all of you. So you will
16:14cover that bill. Every time you go to a store to buy anything, you'll be paying yet more again.
16:20She's proposing a hike on income taxes and small business taxes. That includes an initial raise
16:26on Americans making, they say, over $400,000 a year, but it includes anybody. And then in 2025,
16:34she plans on letting the Trump tax cuts expire. That'll cause taxes to go up for almost all
16:40Americans, including families making under $100,000 a year. And that's not all. Kamala also
16:47wants to raise the Medicare surtax. She's also planning to raise the capital gains tax. Look at
16:53this. From 15 percent to 20 percent to as much as 39 percent. That will destroy investment in America.
17:02Might crash the stock market, too, and the housing market on top of it. She's endorsing a tax hike on
17:09stock buybacks. She wants something called a global minimum tax. She wants it to go from
17:1410 percent to 20 percent. Why are we paying for global anything? That's where the U.S. and Europe,
17:21they kind of get together and they collude and they conspire and they together come up with the
17:28same corporate tax rate to prevent competition among countries for businesses and investment.
17:34Why to ensure a high tax rate and perpetuity? Again, this tax gets passed on to all of you in
17:40the form of higher prices. And so much, by the way, for making America a tax safe haven for people
17:47around the globe to invest here because this is the best place to invest. That would take away our
17:51competitive advantage. Now, Kamala has also invented a brand new tax on something called
17:57unrealized gains. OK, slow down. Newt spoke to this earlier. If you have a 401k or you own a house,
18:06OK, or you have business or some stocks, which most Americans have in any retirement account,
18:13the values of those assets, let's say they go up on paper. Oh, my stocks went up 15 percent. You'd
18:20have to pay an annual tax on that, even though you didn't get a penny. You didn't realize the gain.
18:26And when you sell it, what if you what if the stock had gone down in the interim? You're going
18:30to get a refund. I tend to doubt it. And you'll have to cut a big check every year on unrealized
18:37profits from any asset you have. If you bought a house for, say, 200 grand in the 90s and the
18:42house is now worth a million dollars, I'll get ready to come up with some cold, hard cash.
18:47If Kamala gets her way and God help you, if you're a farmer or a rancher, your entire life will be
18:53destroyed. If you bought into a mutual fund, prepare for your portfolio to drop in value
18:58while your investment company is forced to sell off stocks in order to pay for that massive tax
19:03bill. They have a 401k that you paid into your entire life and you're still getting money and
19:10the value of it is going up and you want the value to go up so you can retire and have some
19:16financial peace of mind. OK, as that value continues to go up and you get ready to cash it
19:21in every year, you're going to be paying an annual tax. The big lie that they're not going to tax
19:26people under four hundred thousand dollars a year. This the market crash from this is almost
19:34unimaginably possible. Now, same with the real estate crash. And again, Kamala's aides say this
19:41plan is only intended for wealthy people. And between these massive tax hikes and the new plan
19:46for socialist price controls, although they're trying to say today, well, maybe we did we over
19:54we oversold that. We don't really mean it like everything else that she's flipped and flopped
19:57and plowed on. But she wants the end of private health insurance. Right. And the socialist greed
20:02new deal. Comrade Kamala is promising basically to end capitalism as we know it in America.
20:11This is the most outrageously dangerous economic plan I've ever seen in my life.
20:17It will hurt every American. The American dream will be shattered. Our country will start to look,
20:22as Newt said, like Venezuela. If you like eating out of trash cans, working hard, making no money,
20:29waiting months and months to see a government doctor, if you're excited by the daily adventure
20:34of hyperinflation, vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. These two economically, frankly,
20:40illiterate radicals with a penchant for for literal communism are promising to drive our
20:47economy right off the clip. Make no mistake. Well, we all experienced under Biden and Harris.
20:54That was only that was only the appetizer, a small taste of coming attractions. It's not
21:00hyperbole. Just think about who was in charge, you know, for the better part of two decades.
21:06Ask yourself of America now is headed in the right direction. Take a look.
21:11She's in the White House right now. Democrats have controlled the White House for 12 of the last 16
21:17years. And for all of the talk about division and the problems in the country and people are hurting,
21:23Democrats have mostly controlled this country. Trump had it for four. The Obamas and Biden
21:30had it for the rest of the time. And somehow it's still all Trump's fault. And somehow she hasn't
21:36been at the center of it. So to me, that's still the glaring hole in this campaign that hasn't yet
21:42been solved at the convention. All right, here now with reaction, he's with the Committee to
21:47Unleash Prosperity, the co-founder Stephen Moore. All right. You first got my attention today when
21:54you saw the New York Times article before I did. And I said, no way. Not possible. I read the
22:00article. I said, oh, oh, my word. Maybe a little harsher than that. However, is this really their
22:10plan? Yeah. You know, last week I was in your show, Sean. Remember when I said that I thought
22:17the Harris and Walz ticket was the most anti-business ticket in my lifetime and probably American
22:24history. And that was before I heard about this new plan. And I had the same reaction, Sean. I
22:29had to read the story twice. I had to look at the numbers. I couldn't believe it. I mean, every
22:34possible tax that they could raise, they will do. And by the way, these are the people ran up the
22:39debt by five and six trillion dollars. And I had predicted this. I said I guaranteed it to my
22:44Democratic friends. They're going to come. Here's how they're going to pay for it. They're going to
22:47come up with a five to six trillion dollar tax. Now, this is a tax that when you said earlier that
22:54this can't this convention is about hating Trump. There's something else they hate and
23:00loathe besides Trump. They hate businesses. They hate small businesses. They hate American
23:04corporations. This is an assault on American businesses in a way that would do extraordinary
23:10damage to the U.S. economy. We would have the highest tax rates in the world. If you put a
23:15dollar into investing with all these multiple tiers of taxes that you were talking about,
23:20you pay about an 80 percent, 80 cents out of every dollar in all these taxes. This is the opposite
23:28of what remember John F. Kennedy 60 years ago said tax rates are too high in America and tax
23:33revenues are too low. That's when even Democrats believed that you wanted to keep tax rates low.
23:38This has blown the lid off that these people know nothing about business. And I agree with you,
23:43it would be a dose of cyanide for our economy if this ever came to pass. I mean, how do you do
23:49unrealized capital gains? How would that go off? OK, so you have an investment income on paper.
23:56OK, you're making a profit, not a bad thing in their minds. I guess a bad thing. OK, so whatever
24:02profit at the end of the year they project you made, you've got to pay taxes on that. OK, that's
24:08right. Let's say when you finally sell off your stock or sell a piece of property, what they
24:12estimated it was worth isn't isn't what it's worth anymore. Do you get your money back? Yeah. You
24:18know, you know, you pay for it. You don't get your money back. They just it just was what you should
24:23have sold it when you had a chance. Is that their their message to you? You know, who's going to get
24:28really hammered by this tax is ranchers and farmers. So, you know, my favorite example,
24:33take a farmer who, let's say, you know, 20 years ago bought a piece of property,
24:38farmland for, say, two hundred fifty thousand dollars. And now the government says, hey, you
24:41know, that that land 20 years later is worth five million dollars. So you're going to have to pay
24:46tax on that five million dollars at 20 percent. You owe the government a million dollars. Well,
24:51Sean, where is the farmer going to come up with a million dollars? So you're going to have a
24:55situation where literally not very literally Americans are going to have to sell the farm,
25:00sell their businesses, sell their stocks to pay the tax they they owe to the IRS.
25:05I mean, even even Russia doesn't do this. Yeah, unbelievable. Anyway, Steve Moore,
25:12we appreciate your analysis. Scary times, scary plan on top of price gauging and gouging and
25:17everything else in between. All right. It's no secret. One of the most important swing states
25:22by far this year must win for Republicans is the great state of Georgia. Joining us now for
25:28an exclusive interview, governor of that great state. I spent four wonderful years there.
25:32I'm very fond of Georgia. Actually, Governor Kemp is with us. Governor, I ran into the son
25:38of Martin Luther King Jr. tonight. We had a long conversation, really enjoyed my time with him.
25:43When I was there, I got to know all the great civil rights icons. Maynard Jackson welcomed me
25:48to Atlanta my my first day on the air there. So I have I have nothing but fond feelings for
25:53the people of Georgia. Thank you for being with us. Great to be on with you, Sean.
25:59So I'm glad you're here. I know all that you are doing in Georgia to and and and honestly,
26:09I know also that it's working. I can see that it's working. The betting markets in Georgia,
26:14maybe people didn't notice Polly market, for example, shows that, you know, since you have
26:20gone all in to get every Republican on the ticket, including Donald Trump elected, that the odds of
26:27Trump winning now have jumped, you know, from below 50 percent to over 64 percent today. And
26:34I would attribute that success to you, your operation that is second to none in the great
26:39state of Georgia. What's going on on the ground, Governor? Well, Sean, look, we got to win. You
26:46know, we got to win from the top of the ticket on down. I've been saying consistently for a long
26:52time we cannot afford another four years of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. And I think, you know,
26:58Kamala Harris and Tim Walsh would be even worse. So we need to send Donald Trump back to the White
27:04House. We need to retake the Senate. We need to hold the House. We need to hold our legislative
27:09majorities that we have in the great state of Georgia. And it takes hard work. That's what we've
27:14been doing. We've been in the in the field since after the 4th of July, knocking doors, really
27:20working in swing districts where we have vulnerable legislators, but also making sure that we're
27:25turning out the base for the whole ticket so that we win from top to bottom. And I just want to urge
27:31everybody out there. We cannot take this for granted. We have got to get the vote out. We got
27:36to stay focused. We got to stay focused on the future. We need to do like you just did and like
27:41Stephen Moore just did continue to hammer Kamala Harris's record and the record of, you know,
27:48really the Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi and the other people that have been really for 12,
27:54like Scott Jennings said, Sean, for 12 of the last 16 years punishing the American people.
28:00And I was thinking earlier when you were on with Stephen Moore, I feel the you know,
28:05I know the Democrats have been talking about joy, the joy of subsiding. And when the sugar
28:10high, the convention subsides, people are going to really start thinking it's not so joyful when
28:16I look at my bank account. It's not joyful when I can't make my car payment or my rent payment,
28:22or I have to decide whether I'm going to buy gas or buy groceries. And I know former President
28:27Trump was at the border today. People have not forgotten the disaster at the border and the
28:33millions and millions of illegal people that are in our country that are getting
28:37better benefits than some of our hardworking Georgians and hardworking Americans out there.
28:44Governor, are you as surprised as I am at the tax plan, for example, that was announced today,
28:50or the whole idea, for example, price gouging when grocery margins, the profit margins are 1.6%
28:59historically in line where they've always been. Are you surprised when you hear Kamala talk about
29:05decriminalizing the illegal immigrants, free housing, health care, education, the fact that
29:10she tweeted out the bail fund wants to get rid of ICE, defund, dismantle, no bail laws on crime,
29:17which is happening. It's happening in your state. It's happening around the country.
29:22Or no fracking, no drilling. We'd economically unilaterally disarm that.
29:27This scares me. Your reaction? Well, I mean, they're moving back to who they really are,
29:34Sean. I mean, we saw that the day they took office when they changed the policies at the border that
29:39were working. We know that firsthand. I told somebody the other day when Donald Trump was
29:44in office, we were working with his administration, sending our National Guard troops to secure the
29:50border. Now we're having to do that with Governor Greg Abbott in Texas because this administration
29:56doesn't want to secure the border. You know, they had complete power in Washington, D.C.
30:01The Democrats did have the White House. The House and the Senate did nothing about the border,
30:06did nothing but really ramp up spending, create these bad policies that created 40 year high
30:13inflation. Now they're trying to take credit for driving inflation down. They created it to start
30:19with. So we don't need to let them forget about that. They're trying to move away from some of
30:24those things and flip flop on their positions. And I think when the when the convention is over
30:30with and the race settles back down, we get past Labor Day, get to the debate. It's going to be
30:35really focused on the issues and changing your position at this stage of the game. We cannot
30:40let her get away with that. We need to stay focused on her record. It's been bad when she
30:44was in San Francisco and representing the state of California. And it's going to be bad if she
30:50gets back in the White House. You know, Governor, I go back to where I started. And I know you've
30:56gone all in to get every Republican top of the ticket, bottom of the ticket elected. How do you
31:03get that message out? How do you bypass a media that's that's refuses to play Kamala, her radical,
31:10extreme views in her own words, or Tim Walz, his radical, extreme views in his own words?
31:16What would be your recommendation?
31:20It's you know, you got to raise money. You got to go knock on doors. You got to make phone calls.
31:27And then when early voting starts, we got to get the vote out. Every person we can get to go vote
31:32Republican from the top of the ticket on down. That's one less person we got to worry about as
31:37we move into Election Day. I was with it was I was at an event today, Sean, with two legislators
31:43that are in vulnerable districts. And they asked him, I said, How are y'all feeling? They said,
31:48we're feeling good. We know we're hearing your people are knocking on our doors. They're turning
31:54our base voters out. But then we're also trying to get persuadable voters to get out
31:59in these tough districts and suburban and metro areas. And then we also got to just keep working
32:04hard to run up the score in real Republican counties. You know, in South Georgia, I know
32:09J.D. Vance was down about Austin today with the Democratic sheriff of Lowndes County,
32:14who's a great American, a great Georgian and a great supporter of President Trump and
32:19J.D. Senator Vance. And so those are the things that we got to keep doing in Georgia to get the
32:24vote out. We cannot take this race for granted. Yeah, let me let me answer this. I know that also
32:31you have tackled the issue of, you know, bringing integrity to the election process
32:37on a basic common sense measure. I don't know why any party would resist proof of citizenship,
32:43voter I.D., signature verification, updated voter rolls, chain of custody controls,
32:49partisan observers watching the voting all day, the vote counting all night.
32:53You have taken huge steps in Georgia, Governor,
32:58and I think the country can learn a lot from what you've done down there.
33:01Well, when I was secretary of state, Sean, we sued the Obama administration to implement the
33:06citizenship check when you register to vote in Georgia. That's still in place.
33:10We've had photo I.D. since 2006. So we have voter I.D. in place. As you know,
33:17after the 2020 election, we passed one of the strongest elections integrity acts in the country.
33:22This simply makes it easy to vote and hard to cheat. And we added the photo I.D. or
33:30voter I.D. requirement to absentee ballots. So we've done a lot to make sure our elections are
33:36going to be secure in Georgia. I would urge people, you know, volunteer to be a poll worker,
33:41be a poll watcher, get involved in the process. I feel like we're going to have a secure,
33:47accessible, fair election in this state. And if we turn our people out and vote from the top of
33:53the ticket on down, we're going to put Georgia back in the red column for a presidential race,
33:59unlike we did in 2020. But I believe we can do that. We did it in 2022 against Stacey Abrams
34:04and the Democratic machine. And I believe we can do it again this year with a lot of hard
34:09work between now and November the 5th. Governor, with your team and your leadership and,
34:14you know, you going all into the country, I think at an inflection point is so critical,
34:19so important. I'm very grateful for all you're doing. Governor Kemp,
34:23thank you so much for being with us. We hope you'll come back. Thank you, sir.
34:29Welcome to my YouTube channel. Today, I'm going to show you how to make a
34:34hat for a cat like this. I'm going to start with a white yarn. I'm going to start with a magic ring.
34:40Then I'm going to make a single stitch. I'm going to increase the stitches to the outside.
34:44After I've made 5 rows of single stitches, I'm going to make 28 rows of single stitches.
34:51In the first row, I'm going to insert the hook into the outside of the stitch. In the next row,
34:55I'm going to leave out a stitch. Then I'm going to make a single stitch. Then I'm going to make a chain stitch.
35:01And then I'm going to make a single stitch again. For the decoration, I'm going to use a pink yarn.
35:05I'm going to make a flower. First, I'm going to make 2 chain stitches. Then I'm going to turn it around and
35:09insert the hook into the first stitch. 60 single stitches. Next, I'm going to make the flowers.
35:14Each flower has 2 chain stitches, 2 double stitches, and 2 chain stitches. 1 slip stitch.
35:20Next, I'm going to use a crochet hook to attach the flowers and the basket to the cat.
