00:43:01All right, Charlie, I know you dragged my ass out of bed at three in the morning.
00:43:04What's the big secret?
00:43:05I thought you'd like to be here for this whole day.
00:43:08Old friend of yours is back in town.
00:43:12Do I get a hint?
00:43:14Well, ten years ago he snuffed your partner.
00:43:22Are you sure?
00:43:24We just got a computer match on the prints we pulled from this room.
00:43:29Was it true blood or was it bleeding?
00:43:31Not the one you're after. You'd think it's his kid brother.
00:43:37Hotel manager ID'd him as a suspect.
00:43:39He hit a convenience mart last night about five blocks from here.
00:43:42You're right. I know the kid. What else you got?
00:43:46Some loose change.
00:43:50Toothbrush.
00:43:53A gun.
00:43:55Toothbrush.
00:43:58Razor.
00:44:00And this.
00:44:02Frank Santos?

00:46:22Donnie!
00:46:25Donnie!
00:46:27Donnie, why don't you talk to me, man? I'm your brother.

00:46:33You have AIDS!
00:46:52Donnie!
00:47:17Ten years I didn't hear from you.
00:47:20Ten fucking years.

00:47:26And you want to be my brother?
00:47:33Donnie, I don't expect you to forgive me, all right?
00:47:36I don't.
00:47:39But I swear to God I had no choice but to leave.
00:47:44And the further I got from this place, the longer I was gone,
00:47:47the harder it was to get back.
00:47:49Bullshit, man!
00:47:52That's the truth.
00:47:54I'm sorry. I got hung up, man.
00:47:56I got caught up thinking about myself and I forgot what was important.
00:48:00Important things like family.
00:48:02Like brothers.
00:48:04That's why I came back, Donnie.
00:48:06I came back to get you because we're brothers.
00:48:08And nothing can change that.
00:48:10Nothing.
00:48:20Feel better?
00:48:22Not yet.
00:48:27Now I do.

00:48:43Love me.
00:48:50Love me.
00:49:04So this is gratitude?
00:49:08I'm growing tired of playing nurse to the true bloods.
00:49:11I don't know why I let you guys back in here.
00:49:14Look, we'll get out of here. I'll get a key from Frank and we'll be out of here by tonight.
00:49:18Let's hope so.
00:49:24I gotta go.
00:49:26Thanks, nurse.

00:50:40I shouldn't have.
00:50:42Gee, that's quite a compliment.
00:50:44Gee, that's quite a compliment.
00:50:48Look, call me when the Roman orgy's over.
00:50:50Hey.
00:50:53Can I ask you something?
00:50:55If you must.
00:50:57Have you got a weed or something stuck up your ass?
00:51:02No class, bohemian.
00:51:08I'm looking for Frank Santos.
00:51:11You found him.
00:51:13Do you know a kid named Donnie Trueblood? He's about 18 years old.
00:51:16Dark hair, wears a cut-off leather jacket.
00:51:19What was that name again?
00:51:21Donnie Trueblood.
00:51:23I don't know.

00:52:41I think it's full of shit.
00:52:44Well, we can either stake the place out,
00:52:48or you can go back and beat it out of him.
00:52:51Don't tempt me.
00:52:54Look at this, look at this.
00:53:01Wait a minute, what do you think, huh?

00:54:23They say you killed a cop.
00:54:25Now whether you did or you didn't,
00:54:27I can't afford to get mixed up in it.

01:02:00Completely finished.
01:02:10You said 30, right?
01:02:12That's what I said.
01:02:15Yeah, would you take half of that?
01:02:17Sure.
01:02:18I'll take half.
01:02:20If you like the broom closet down the hall.
01:02:23Look, pal.
01:02:24Don't jerk old Harry around.
01:02:26You want the place or not?

01:02:57For two tickets.
01:02:59Tickets for what?
01:03:03Two tickets to Wyoming.
01:03:14Hey, Donnie, I was there.

01:03:27No, I didn't.
01:03:31Mom's dead, Donnie.
01:03:33She died before I got there.
01:03:38But then, Donnie, that doesn't change anything.
01:03:41See, we could still go.
01:03:44Donnie, you've got to see this place.
01:03:46It's everything that Mom told us it would be.
01:03:48Everything she promised.
01:03:50I want you to come with me.
01:03:51We can live together.
01:03:52We'll get a house.

01:04:22Donnie, that ain't no life, man.
01:04:24It ain't no life.
01:04:25And you can't stay in this city, Donnie.
01:04:27Don't you understand that, man?
01:04:28Because if masters don't get you, the cops will.
01:04:30And, Donnie, either way, you're going to end up dead.
01:04:34Don't you understand that, man?
01:04:35Listen to me!
01:04:36I survived for ten fucking years without your help.

01:05:07I can.

01:05:17More than I can trust you, Ray.
01:05:19All right, come on.

01:08:00At nine in the afternoon.
01:08:03Go tell me what you find there.
01:08:06You know where to find me.
01:08:18Well done, Bobby.
01:08:20Well done.
01:08:24Maybe...
01:08:28I should say...
01:08:33Bobby.
01:08:35Bobby, well done.
01:08:53Thank you.
01:08:58Well, if it isn't Primitive Man.
01:09:01What are you doing here?
01:09:04I don't know. What do people usually do here?

01:10:01I'm just trying to be nice to you.
01:10:03Jennifer, that kid bothering you?
01:10:05No, that's all right, Frank. He was just about to leave.
01:10:08Isn't that right?
01:10:09Isn't that right?
01:10:25Wait a minute.
01:10:31Hey, why don't you just tell me what it is you're after?
01:10:35I ain't after nothing.

01:12:11All right, let's talk.
01:12:16What is it with you, anyway?
01:12:19Why aren't you more like your brother?
01:12:23When I was a kid,
01:12:25I used to want to be like Ray.
01:12:27I'm sorry, Ray.

01:14:45Oh, you did, all right.
01:14:50It was just the two of us on the roof that night, maggot.
01:14:52Nobody else.
01:14:54You're wrong, Lieutenant. There was someone else.
01:14:56Bullshit!
01:14:58Listen, I know who he is.
01:15:00And I know his name, I know where he is,
01:15:02and I'll help you get him
01:15:04if you're willing to make a deal.
01:15:06I don't make no deals with cop killers.
01:15:09Just think about it, Lieutenant.

01:15:31But you gotta let my brother Donnie walk away.
01:15:34What, are you out of your mind?
01:15:36If anything happens to him,
01:15:38then you're gonna have a cop killer on the streets,
01:15:41and you're never gonna know his name.
01:15:44Why the fuck should I trust you?
01:15:45Why the fuck should I trust you?

01:16:54I guarantee it, you understand?

01:29:01Still think you're better than old Billy?
01:29:05I know what.

01:33:00Come on, here you go.
01:33:08Don't worry about it, kid. I've seen worse.
01:33:10You have a right to remain silent.
01:33:12You give up the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
01:33:17You have a right to speak with an attorney and to have that attorney present during questioning.
01:33:21If you so desire and cannot afford one, an attorney will be appointed...
01:33:24Charlie.
01:33:26Yeah.
01:33:27I'll take care of this. Why don't you go downstairs and call an ambulance?
01:33:31I'll take care of this. Why don't you go downstairs and call an ambulance?
01:33:41All right, Joe.
01:33:54Turn around, kid.
01:34:01I want you out of town. I don't care how you go.
01:34:03Get a train, get a plane, use your thumb. I don't care.
01:34:06Just make sure you go, you understand?
01:34:09If you don't, I'm coming after you. Now get out of here.
01:34:16Don't worry about him. He'll live.
01:34:30Now we're even.
01:35:01Let me tell you something, Trueblood.
01:35:03Just because I dropped the charges doesn't mean I'm going to forget you.
01:35:07I can still nail your ass for littering.
01:35:11I understand that, Lieutenant.
01:35:13Don't come back here.
01:35:18Thanks.
01:35:24Now get the fuck out of here.
01:35:27Now get the fuck out of here.
01:35:32I was beginning to think you changed your mind.
01:35:36One way to Denver with a connection in Wyoming.
01:35:39And after that, you're on your own.
01:35:44Thank you.
01:35:46You tell Frank, I won't.
01:35:51Okay.
01:35:53What did the doctor say?
01:35:57Here, let me help you.
01:36:00Well, he said that I should keep lead out of my diet for a while.
01:36:05God.
01:36:06But he said I'd be all right.
01:36:09How about you? How are you doing?
01:36:12I'm tougher than you think.
01:36:16I doubt it.
01:36:18Hey.
01:36:26Hey.
01:36:27Always wanted to do that.
01:36:31Bing bang boom.
01:36:37As soon as I get...
01:36:40get settled out there and get an address,
01:36:43I'll send it to you, all right?
01:36:45And you make sure that Donnie gets it.
01:36:48Yeah.
01:36:53What's so funny?
01:36:55I have a little going away present for you.
01:37:14Did you think you're gonna leave without me?
01:37:18No.
01:37:49Take care.
01:38:01Thanks for everything.
01:38:19There is a place I'd like to go
01:38:24I've only touched it in a dream
01:38:31Sometimes these walls are hard to climb
01:38:35You know they make it hard to find that place
01:38:42That place within my mind
01:38:47But I believe what a man can see
01:38:51Can become his destiny
01:38:53If that's his life to decide
01:38:56You know someday there will come a time
01:39:00I'll leave the night behind
01:39:02And set my spirit free
01:39:05To go beyond a dream
01:39:09Beyond a dream
01:39:17Beyond a dream
01:39:28Never mind what you'll ever see
01:39:31A man can't taste his life when his spirit's weak
01:39:36Well now there's nothing, nothing stopping me
01:39:40This man can finally see beyond a dream
01:39:46Beyond a dream
01:39:50Beyond a dream
01:39:59I've gone beyond a dream
01:40:10Beyond a dream
01:40:13Beyond a dream
