00:00Before I proceed with my presentation, I just would like to clarify the reason why we're so passionate together with my group in Mayors for Good Governance.

00:20Why are we so passionate in this fight for good governance and our fight against corruption?

00:26First, I would like to formally announce and clarify that I'm not running for president.

00:37I'm not running for senator and I'm not also running for congressman.

00:43So, at least we can clarify so that there's no more intrigue.

00:51And the reason for that is because, first of all, we would like to leave a legacy for our young generation.

01:03Because 10 years from now, 20 years from now, if we're not going to address the pervasive corruption that is now happening in this country today,

01:15I don't want our children to be suffering and they will be blaming us and asking me,

01:23Mayor, you were in the position of influence 10 years ago and you did nothing about it.

01:33I don't want to be apologizing to them and experiencing regret by traditional and corrupt politicians.

01:41It is a very common word. Common word.

01:46But, unfortunately, it's still part of our own very justice.

01:52Napakalayo bako ng ating lalak pano.

01:56And that's the reason why I mentioned it as a preach coupon.

02:01But first, let me show you and share with you the words of Albert Einstein when he said,

02:07The world has become a dangerous place.

02:11Not because of evil people, but because good men do nothing about it.

02:18And I see a lot of good people here today.
