Just months after the first brain chip recipient suffered life-threatening complications, Neuralink's second patient says he is 'super impressed' with the implant.

According to Neuralink, it took the patient just five minutes to start moving a cursor with his mind and less than a day to beat the world record for brain-powered cursor control.

Alex, the quadriplegic man who received the controversial brain chip, is now able to use 3D design software and even play the first-person shooter Counter-Strike 2.

While the device has been plagued by health risks and animal cruelty concerns, Elon Musk now says millions of people could have their own chips implanted by 2034.

In a post on X, Musk wrote: 'If all goes well, there will be hundreds of people with Neuralinks within a few years, maybe tens of thousands within 5 years, millions within 10 years.'
