Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa told reporters that the woman, who was swallowed by the sinkhole along Jalan Masjid India on Friday (Aug 23), is a 48-year-old Indian national on holiday with her family for nearly two months.

He also said that a similar land subsidence occurred last year at the site of the incident.
