00:00Okay, so the Southeastern Conference, there's not going to be a lot of debating anymore
00:07about too many teams from the SEC getting in the four-team college football playoff.
00:12We've now moved on to complaining about them having three or four teams, most likely in
00:16the 12-team college football playoff.
00:19So look, I do think, Bill, that with this new format, it's going to create a lot of
00:26fun for people who follow.
00:28But I still think there's going to be some angst for the SEC, because when I look at
00:32the conference and I see 12 teams are going to make it, I'm still seeing like a minimum
00:38of three, maybe even four teams from this conference getting in.
00:41I mean, Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee could get in too.
00:45Let's not forget about Alabama, Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss, LSU.
00:49I mean, and Oklahoma and Texas, like I can't find a way that four teams don't get in the
00:55college football playoff.
00:56I think it starts with the fact that I think 10 teams in the SEC are actual playoff contenders.
01:03You could take that, all the ranked teams, they have nine ranked teams.
01:06And then you could take it off the board a little bit and maybe look at a sleeper if
01:10Florida were to get through that brutal schedule.
01:13So yeah, and I think with the SEC, there's a sense of openness because Nick Saban's gone.
01:19So it's not just about Alabama and starting every conversation about Alabama and Georgia,
01:24even though those are two of the three best teams, in my opinion.
01:27I think Texas is a playoff caliber team with Quinn Ewers and what they got going on there.
01:32Big season for Ole Miss, friendly schedule for the Rebels as well.
01:36And then you get into that second tier, like you were talking about, Tennessee, LSU, Missouri,
01:42they all feel like they can be in that mix.
01:44I would, if there was an over-under on it, I think the SEC gets at least three, could
01:49get four, outside chance they get five playoff teams.
