17:11And I'm going to place these glasses on your forehead.
17:14Then by jiggling, wrinkling your brow any way you can without using your hands,
17:18we want you to work these glasses down your forehead
17:21until they are sitting on the bridge of your nose.
17:23Do you understand that, sir?
17:24Yes.
17:25All right.
17:25Let's take a look at the clock and see how much time you have.
17:27You have 40 seconds by the clock.
17:29All right.
17:30I'll place the glasses there.
17:32Are you ready?
17:33Go.
17:38Lost them.
17:38Stop the clock.
17:41Here we go.
17:42Go.
17:44Oh, lost them again.
17:47Try it real easy now.
17:50Try working them down.
17:52Try working them down slowly.
17:53I think you'll find it much easier that way.
18:01I was waiting for it that time.
18:03Okay, go.
18:05Oh, you caught them right on your nose.
18:07Boy, I tell you, that was really a catch on the tip end of your nose, huh?
18:21Well, we're going to get on to a problem for you.
18:23And the bonus time.
18:32So let's call it out here.
18:33Girls, would you bring on the bonus time, please?
18:37And if you're both will come with me.
18:41Thank you, Betty.
18:42Thank you, Madeline.
18:43You'll notice that we have down here on the floor, we have an empty Coca-Cola bottle.
18:48And your problem is going to be to get this Coca-Cola bottle down on the floor,
18:52upside down on its neck, like that.
18:56Now, how are you going to do it?
18:57Well, I'll tell you.
18:58We have for you here two little sticks.
19:00We're going to give you one and we're going to give you one.
19:02You may hold it in one or both hands, but always hold it back of that white mark.
19:06Using these sticks and these sticks only,
19:08stand that Coca-Cola bottle upside down on its neck.
19:11We'll start the clock and you'll beat the clock.
19:12We work together?
19:13You may work together, separately, any way you can.
19:15You may only use the sticks.
19:16Understand?
19:17All right, let's take a look at the clock and see how much time you have.
19:2035 seconds.
19:21Are you ready?
19:22Go.
19:36Oh.
19:4315 seconds.
19:58Oh, I'm sorry.
19:59You didn't beat the clock.
20:00The clock beat you and I thought sure you had it there.
20:06But that's only in the nature of a bonus.
20:09That's only in the nature of a bonus.
20:10That means that next week, our bonus time will be worth $300.
20:13So I think if you both will get right into your $200 clock problem,
20:17come along here with me, will you please?
20:18Girls, would you come over here, please?
20:21All right.
20:22Now, I'm going to ask you, sir, if you will, to hold this end right here with both hands.
20:26And I'm going to ask your wife to hold the other end in both hands.
20:29And I'm going to tell you that you must both cooperate in doing this problem.
20:32You may not use any other part of your body except your hands in this.
20:35And you may jiggle this up and down, shake it around any way you want.
20:37Your problem is to get this tennis ball from this cup into this cup.
20:42Now, you may work it from cup to cup.
20:44If you wish, you may work it from cup like this.
20:46You may bounce it any way you want as long as you get it from this cup into the cup
20:50without it once touching the floor.
20:51If you drop the ball, we'll replace it with another ball.
20:53You understand the problem?
20:55Now, I'll give you a little hint.
20:56I suggest that you hold it down.
20:57Let your husband do all the work.
20:59You understand?
21:00All right.
21:00Let's take a look at the clock and see how much time you have.
21:02You have 45 seconds.
21:04All right.
21:05You're all set?
21:06All set?
21:07Let's go.
21:35I suggest you try working it easier.
21:40Try little easy jumps.
21:53Oh, I'm sorry.
21:54You didn't beat the clock.
21:55The clock beats you.
22:04Boy, you had it in there and bounced out several times.
22:07Well, you didn't beat the clock, but you have beaten our $100 clock.
22:10So, let's take a look and see what you've won.

22:59Are you one of these fellas that digs the tunnels under the river?
23:02Oh, the pressure.
23:04Is it warm down there?
23:05Sometimes, yes.
23:06But how high would the temperature go, would you say?
23:08Well, last year I was around 90, no, 95.
23:1195, 90?
23:13Sometimes it hits 100.

23:16Well, before we get on to your problem on the $100,
23:20and now we, uh, well, we've dressed you up, haven't we, Mrs. Burke?

23:23Well, we've got a problem for both of you on the $100 clock,
23:26if you'll come along with me, please.
23:27Right over here.
23:28You notice that we have, uh, here on the floor, five volleyballs.
23:32Your problem is going to be using your hands and your hands only,
23:35no other part of your body for support,
23:37to take these volleyballs and stack them one on top of the other
23:40until you have them stacked five high, using only your hands.
23:43Do you understand that problem?
23:45All right, let's take a look at the clock and see how much time you have.
23:47You have 50 seconds by our clock.
23:49Are you ready?
23:51Go!
23:57Hmm.
24:05Kind of getting away from me.

24:18Stop the clock!

24:33You know, they were getting away from you there for a minute.
24:37Oh, say, we've run out of seconds and minutes.
24:39Can you come back next week?
24:41Well, good, you'll be our first contestants then.
24:42I'll see you next week, Mrs. Burke, and you too, Mr. Burke.
