During the British rule in India, Mowgli is the five-year-old son of Nathoo, a widowed guide who is guiding an expedition in the jungle for fellow widower Colonel Geoffrey Brydon and his five-year-old daughter, Kitty. Shere Khan the tiger is stalking the group because fellow guide Buldeo and two other soldiers have been killing animals for sport, which is against the jungle law. Shere Khan attacks the camp at night, killing two of the soldiers and Nathoo, who dies trying to fight him off to defend Buldeo.
In the chaos, Mowgli and his wolf cub, Grey Brother, are separated and presumed dead. Mowgli meets Bagheera the panther who leads him to the wolf pack and also befriends bear cub Baloo. Years later, a monkey steals a bracelet from Mowgli, which Kitty had given to him when they were children. Mowgli chases the monkey to an ancient city honoring Hanuman which hosts piles of treasure. He battles and subdues Kaa the snake and is given the bracelet back by King Louie.

00:00:00So keep silence along the banks, and I will tell you one of these tales, a story as enchanting
00:00:08as the jungle itself.
00:00:11It is about pride, and power, and treasure, and about fangs, and claws, and talons, but
00:00:19mostly it is about love.
00:00:50My new command was at the edge of the world, surrounded by a million miles of jungle.
00:00:58With me was my daughter Catherine, whom everyone called Kitty.
00:01:04Leading us was an Indian guide whose son was called Mowgli.
00:01:11From the moment they were born, Mowgli and Kitty had a common bond, for both of their
00:01:16mothers had left this world while bringing them into it.
00:01:23Also with us was my good friend, Dr. Julius Plumford, who was to be our surgeon.
00:01:46Damn the elephant!
00:01:57Pull yourself together!
00:02:00Shere Khan.
00:02:12I say, could somebody possibly grab this elephant?
00:02:16Sorry to bother you.
00:02:26And as surely as a tiger named Shere Khan was to be the jungle's royal keeper, Mowgli
00:02:33was destined to become its lord.
00:02:36Well done, Mowgli.
00:02:40Udail, what on earth's going on?
00:02:42Shere Khan, he's returning.
00:02:44Yeah, a tiger?
00:02:46Shere Khan, king of tigers.
00:02:48He's angry because these men with their guns have gone into his jungle and killed more
00:02:52than they can eat.
00:02:53What is a tiger carrying?
00:02:54There are few animals here or there.
00:02:56Would you allow someone to break into your house and steal your food?
00:03:00These three broke the jungle law.
00:03:02Shere Khan knows it.
00:03:05We'd best beware.
00:03:12Shere Khan.
00:03:43Shere Khan.
00:03:45Shere Khan.
00:04:12Shere Khan.
00:04:35All right.
00:04:39What is this?
00:04:42And in English?
00:04:44Good.
00:04:46I bet you can't tell me what this is.
00:04:55Very good.
00:05:08I got the boy.
00:05:12Come here, come here.
00:05:42Shere Khan.
00:06:13Where's Mowgli, father?
00:06:18He's gone, kiddie.

00:23:33You know it's dangerous.
00:23:35You're a very naughty girl.
00:23:37Not in public, Billy.
00:23:39Public? What public?
00:23:41I seem to remember
00:23:43our last kiss
00:23:45being quite public.
00:23:49Heat of the moment, my good man.
00:23:51Heat of the moment.
00:23:53Now we'd best get back across the bridge.
00:23:55I should warn you.
00:23:57Quite the hunter today.
00:23:59And am I to be your prey?
00:24:07What the...
00:24:09Why, you little savage.
00:24:13And what have we here?
00:24:17An animal.
00:24:19An animal that needs to be taught a lesson in manners, I think.
00:24:23Come on, put them up.
00:24:25Be careful, William.
00:24:27Don't worry, Catherine. I'll protect you.
00:24:29Actually, William, I think that's what he's trying to do.

00:29:13Please leave.
00:29:15If I scream, they'll hear me.
00:29:17Please, you must go.
00:29:23All right, I'll take it, but only if you promise to leave.
00:29:29There, go now.
00:29:33What is it with you and flowers and kissing?
00:29:37Billy!
00:29:39Billy!
00:29:41It's the savage we caught in the jungle.
00:29:43He's here.
00:29:45What?
00:29:47Who are you?
00:29:53Do you speak English?
00:29:57Hindi?
00:30:01Do you speak anything?
00:30:03Don't touch that.
00:30:07I told you.
00:30:09Here.
00:30:17It's all right.
00:30:21It's all right.
00:30:47Where did you get this?
00:30:53Where did you get this?

00:35:19Well, we can't be having any of that now, can we?
00:35:21And we found this on him.
00:35:23May have a brother and sister.

00:36:03Come to order, if you please!
00:36:06What's going on here?
00:36:08This is the, uh, intruder we caught.
00:36:10Well, I'm aware of that.
00:36:12But does detaining a prisoner mean you have to beat him half to death?
00:36:14He kicked me in the sweets.
00:36:16Your sweets, say, Harley.
00:36:18Sir.
00:36:20What's his name?

00:38:06He's stolen to the palace and broke into your bedroom.
00:38:08He's gentle and harmless.

00:38:40Your best friend?
00:38:42Well, couldn't possibly.
00:38:44He was five years old.
00:38:46No child could survive in the jungle,
00:38:48not for ten minutes, much less...
00:38:52It's your mother's bracelet.
00:38:54I gave this to you when you were young.
00:38:56Yes, and I gave it to a small boy named Mowgli.
00:38:58Remember?
00:39:00Could it be him?
00:39:06Well, it's our duty to help him.
00:39:08Fascinating case study, Geoffrey.

00:39:12his ability to learn language, to reason.

00:39:18A unique scientific...
00:39:20Opportunity.

00:39:24Just came to you, sir. Spontaneous.

00:40:12Teach him to speak.
00:40:14But he's vicious and uncivilized.
00:40:16Then we'll make him civilized.
00:40:20What did you do to him?
00:40:22He did it to himself.
00:40:24We tried to stop him.
00:40:26Oh, he has, miss. He's done it to himself.
00:40:28He's mad, you see.

00:46:24every sound has a meaning.
00:46:26The jungle speaks to me
00:46:28because I've learned
00:46:30how to listen.
00:46:32If you could have spoken to me
00:46:34the first time in the jungle,
00:46:36what would you have said?

00:47:32Catherine?
00:47:34Hello, Father.
00:47:36Don't you hello Father me.
00:47:38I've had men combing the whole bloody district looking for you.

00:47:42You were with that jungle boy, weren't you?
00:47:44Mowgli, Father. His name is Mowgli.
00:47:46He's bred in the jungle, raised by animals.
00:47:48It's not right for a girl of your standing,
00:47:50of your background.
00:47:52It's... It's not done, you hear?
00:47:54It's just not done.
00:47:56What's not done? I haven't done anything.
00:47:58People are beginning to talk.
00:48:00Well, people always talk, Father.
00:48:02I just want what's best for you.
00:48:04Well, I think you want what's best for you.
00:48:10Oh.
00:48:16Oh.
00:48:20I'm sorry, Father.
00:48:22That was all my...
00:48:24It was my fault, dragging you halfway around the world.
00:48:28I'm thinking...
00:48:30Perhaps it's in your best interests
00:48:32if I send you home.
00:48:34To England?
00:48:36But India's my home. I love it here.
00:48:38Look, in England, you'd have dozens of handsome young suitors.
00:48:40It's time you turned your mind to...
00:48:42settling down.
00:48:44I've plenty of time.
00:48:46No, no, no. No good reason for you to stay on.
00:48:48Unless...
00:48:50Unless, of course,
00:48:52there's a better offer.
00:48:54Hmm?
00:48:56Yes, Father.
00:49:14Hey!
00:49:30All right, what's this all about?
00:49:32What it is all about,
00:49:34my good Captain Sahib,
00:49:36is the last city of Hanuman.
00:49:38Yes, yes, I know the legend.
00:49:40It is not a legend.
00:49:42Oh, no, Sahib.
00:49:44Most certainly it is not.
00:49:46Many thousand years ago,
00:49:48in time of Hanuman,
00:49:50deep in the heart of Black Jungle,
00:49:52there was a most
00:49:54magnificent city.
00:49:56Our people in Asia are traveling there
00:49:58for chance to save their souls.
00:50:00Bought their way into heaven, did they?
00:50:02Ah, yes.
00:50:04And the treasures, they are piling higher and higher.
00:50:08Till one day,
00:50:10Black Jungle is becoming very angry
00:50:12and is swallowing the whole city.
00:50:14And it was lost forever.
00:50:16And all these centuries,
00:50:18it's been waiting for the right men
00:50:20to come and find her.
00:50:22Men like us?
00:50:24Lots of men have gone in search
00:50:26of the last city.
00:50:28But no one is ever returning.
00:50:30To go into the Black Jungle
00:50:32is to invite death. Understand?
00:50:34Unless, of course,
00:50:36one knows the way.
00:50:38You're a boy.
00:50:40Precisely.
00:50:42But getting his cooperation
00:50:44may take some
00:50:46persuasion.
00:50:56What are you looking at?
00:50:58I have seen that hat.
00:51:00That's King Louis. Front.
00:51:02King Louis?
00:51:04If you see him,
00:51:06I'll do that.
00:51:10Captain William Boone.
00:51:12Mind your manners, Mowgli.
00:51:14Hello, William.
00:51:16Hello, my dear.
00:51:18I thought I'd pay you a surprise visit,
00:51:20seeing as we've been, uh,
00:51:22too busy to see each other of late.
00:51:24I brought you these.
00:51:26I know they're your favorite.
00:51:28Thank you.
00:51:30You're very sweet.
00:51:32So...
00:51:34Lesson's going well, I hope?
00:51:36Very well.
00:51:38Good, good.
00:51:46Attentive fellow, isn't he?
00:51:48Yes, very.
00:51:50I've been doing a lot of thinking
00:51:52about you and I.
00:51:54You have?
00:51:56Yes. And, uh, well...
00:52:02Catherine Ann Brydon.
00:52:04Will you marry me?
00:52:06William, I'm flattered.
00:52:08Good. Then it's settled.
00:52:10But my father's planning on sending me back to England.
00:52:12Shh. I've already spoken to your father.
00:52:14And he feels this is the better offer.
00:52:16I don't know what to say.
00:52:20Then don't say anything.
00:52:24Oh, Catherine.
00:52:26We shall be the most perfect couple in all India.
00:52:28We'll have success,
00:52:30wealth, power...
00:52:32Love?
00:52:34Yes, yes, that too, of course.
00:52:36You know, I feel awful.
00:52:38I've been quite remiss
00:52:40in my duties to you of late, haven't I?
00:52:42Tell you what.
00:52:44Why don't I take your friend...
00:52:46What's his name?
00:52:48Mowgli.
00:52:50Mowgli, yes.
00:52:52Why don't I take him for a tour of the palace?
00:52:54You'd like that, wouldn't you?
00:52:56You know, William, you can be quite sweet
00:52:58about it.
00:53:00Now, this one is a personal favourite of mine.
00:53:02You, um...
00:53:04You thrust it into your opponent's belly like that,
00:53:06you see.
00:53:08And then you twist it a little.
00:53:10And you rip out his stomach.
00:53:14Then do you eat him?
00:53:16No, of course not.
00:53:18Does he want to eat you?
00:53:20Why, no.
00:53:22Then why kill him?
00:53:24Why kill him?
00:53:26Because he's your enemy.
00:53:30What is enemy?
00:53:32Someone you hate.
00:53:36What is hate?
00:53:4215th century.
00:53:44Smart little buggers back then, weren't they?
00:53:50And this one...
00:53:52This one belongs to you, doesn't it?
00:53:54Hmm.
00:53:56Where did you get it?
00:53:58From Monkey City.
00:54:00Monkey City?
00:54:02Was there more treasure there?
00:54:06More like this?
00:54:08In Monkey City,
00:54:10there's mountains of treasure.
00:54:14Mountains, you say?
00:54:22Yes.
00:54:48I want you to take me to this, um...
00:54:52Monkey City of yours.
00:54:56No.
00:54:58No?
00:55:00For heaven's sake, why not?
00:55:02Only those who keep the jungle law, amigo.
00:55:04My dear boy, I'm a British officer.
00:55:06My job is to keep the law.
00:55:08You keep not the jungle law.
00:55:10Look here.
00:55:14I don't know about any jungle law,
00:55:16but I do keep man's law.
00:55:18And man's law rules around here.
00:55:22Man has many laws,
00:55:24most about killing.
00:55:26You kill for sport
00:55:28and anger
00:55:30and treasure.
00:55:32The jungle law say
00:55:34we may only kill to eat
00:55:38or to keep from being eaten.
00:55:40You know,
00:55:42you almost sound like a man.
00:55:44Instead of an animal
00:55:46that's been trained to sound like one.
00:55:50The more I learn what is a man,
00:55:56the more I want to be an animal.
00:55:58I hunt animals, you know.
00:56:02Maybe someday
00:56:04you hunt me.
00:56:12Thank you for inviting me, Dr. Bumford.
00:56:14All think nothing of it, my boy.
00:56:16Now, look at that.
00:56:18The color and majesty of India.
00:56:20The exquisite manners
00:56:22and food of England.
00:56:24All the bare necessities of life.
00:56:26Oh, incidentally,
00:56:28I was joking about the food.
00:56:31Adrian!
00:56:41My, my, my.
00:56:43But don't we look dandy tonight?
00:56:45What does he think he looks like?
00:56:47I'm not entirely sure, really.
00:56:49But perhaps he could teach us
00:56:51how the apes dance.
00:56:53That would be fascinating.
00:56:56I know we were supposed to name these monkeys,
00:56:58but I couldn't remember the names of it.
00:57:25Fascinating.
00:57:27Come, Katherine.
00:57:29Your father has a little announcement he'd like to make.
00:57:31Thank you.
00:57:33All right, ladies and gentlemen,
00:57:35it is my great pleasure
00:57:37to introduce
00:57:39to you
00:57:41Dr. Bumford.
00:57:43Dr. Bumford.
00:57:45Dr. Bumford.
00:57:47Dr. Bumford.
00:57:49Dr. Bumford.
00:57:51Dr. Bumford.
00:57:53All right, ladies and gentlemen.
00:57:55Ladies and gentlemen, if I could have your attention, please.
00:57:58I have an announcement to make.
00:58:00This evening,
00:58:02to my great surprise and delight,
00:58:04one of the finest young men
00:58:06that I've ever had the privilege to know
00:58:08has sought my consent
00:58:10to marry my daughter Katherine,
00:58:12she having accepted his proposal.
00:58:15Nowadays, of course, parents are the last
00:58:17to know these things.
00:58:19Still, never having been one
00:58:21to stand in the way of progress
00:58:23or true love,
00:58:25I am glad to give that consent.
00:58:27And so it is with the greatest pleasure
00:58:29that I announce the engagement
00:58:31of Katherine Ann Brydon
00:58:33to Captain William Bum.
00:58:35A toast
00:58:37to Katherine Ann William.
00:58:39Katherine Ann William.
00:58:52What does this mean, Doctor?
00:58:56It means, Mowgli, that they are to wed.
00:59:02It means
00:59:04she belongs to him.
00:59:21Excuse me, Doctor.
00:59:32Katherine!
00:59:34Pardon me, old chap.
00:59:52Mowgli!

01:00:22Mowgli!
01:00:25Mowgli!
01:00:27Mowgli, where are you going?
01:00:29To my home.
01:00:31You can't go back.
01:00:33You're not an animal, you're a man.
01:00:35I am not a man!
01:00:41And I am not an animal.
01:00:45Please don't leave.
01:00:48Why should I stay?
01:00:52I run with the wolf pack.
01:00:56You
01:00:58must run with the man pack.
01:01:02It is the proper thing.
01:01:17I am not an animal.
01:01:21I will shame your house no more.
01:01:23No.
01:01:49You know, I think you owe me an apology.
01:01:51There's been a mistake with you.
01:01:53Mistake?
01:01:55I can't marry you.
01:01:57I won't marry you.
01:01:59No, Katherine.
01:02:01I think it is you who is mistaken.
01:02:03I realize this adolescent infatuation you have
01:02:06with this savage has addled your brain.
01:02:08But I cannot allow you to make a fool of me
01:02:10and I will not lose you to some puerile jungle boy.
01:02:22I'm sure you won't reconsider.
01:02:24I mean, after all, Captain Boone is a very...
01:02:26No, father.
01:02:28I won't.
01:02:30I'm sure you'll be very happy in England.
01:02:32Yes, I'm sure I will be.
01:02:35I shall miss you dreadfully.
01:02:51We're ready.
01:03:21Now, then.
01:03:23Where do you suppose my little brown brother's got to?
01:03:28Oh, nothing personal.
01:03:36Keep your eyes open, laddies.
01:03:38Watch for the man that spots him.
01:03:42I'll be back.
01:03:52Hey!
01:04:10You swine!
01:04:21You swine!

01:05:51To bring the scattering to the ship to England.
01:05:53Where?
01:05:55They're on the road to Jaipur.

01:06:38Father!
01:06:39Jeffrey!
01:06:40Doctor!
01:06:48Oh, God!
01:06:50Farewell!
01:06:54You!
01:07:14Help me!
01:07:18Help me!
01:07:33Why did they do this?
01:07:35They want me to come for her.
01:07:38They know I'll come for her.
01:07:41You saved my life, Mowgli.
01:07:44Yes, Doctor.
01:07:49Now I need you...
01:07:51...to save the life of another.
01:08:12Get off me!
01:08:15Remember me, Colonel Sahib?
01:08:17Let me go!
01:08:19Yes, I remember you, Buldeo, you bloody cod.
01:08:21Let me go!
01:08:24Hello, darling.
01:08:26Is that you, Harlan?
01:08:28Aye.
01:08:29Look who's here, lad.
01:08:31Hello, Catherine.
01:08:33Looks like the last dance belongs to me.
01:08:37Thank God!
01:08:39What is he doing here?
01:08:41That wasn't part of the plan.
01:08:43How was it, Buldeo?
01:08:44It was a mistake.
01:08:46Captain Boo.
01:08:48Lying to understand you're with this scum.
01:08:50Much to my surprise, sir.
01:08:52I have many friends...
01:08:54...in low places.
01:08:57Sergeant Harley?
01:08:59I've had 25 years of the likes of you...
01:09:01...without making a penny from it.
01:09:03So don't use Sergeant Harley me, you silly wee man.
01:09:08God, I've never heard such interbordination.
01:09:11Lieutenant Wilkes?
01:09:13It's Wilkins, sir.
01:09:15Look, I know this looks bad, sir, but...
01:09:17Oh, shut up, Wilkins.
01:09:22You're all soldiers...
01:09:24...in the British Army.
01:09:26You're under my command.
01:09:28And I order you to return to the fort immediately.
01:09:31You'll be hung, drawn, and quartered.
01:09:33And I'm afraid that won't do at all.
01:09:35This is treason!
01:09:37No!
01:09:39Now we're in it.
01:09:41How could you do this?
01:09:43You don't know what's at the end of the rainbow, my sweet.
01:09:46Why have you brought us here?
01:09:48I will answer that.
01:09:50Ah.
01:09:52Right on time.
01:09:54Come down here.
01:09:56Or else, unpleasantries, Ned.
01:10:03This is good.
01:10:05Take us to the treasure and chill in.
01:10:12I will take you there.
01:10:14And we will see who lives.
01:10:36Oh.
01:10:38Oh.
01:10:40Oh.
01:10:53Oh.
01:11:05Oh.
01:11:23Why do you suppose he stares at us like that?
01:11:26Because to him...
01:11:28...you...
01:11:30...are food.
01:11:33Ned, Ned.
01:11:36Shh.
01:12:00My God.
01:12:02Listen to that.
01:12:04Oh, the noise is bothering you, sonny.
01:12:09Can't you get him to shut up?
01:12:11A man...
01:12:13...talking to animals.
01:12:15Is this done?
01:12:18If we don't get my father to a doctor, he'll die.
01:12:21He's a British officer.
01:12:23We can make do.
01:12:25So...
01:12:27...my jungle friend.
01:12:30Where do we go from here?
01:12:32Follow the mountain.
01:12:34And then...
01:12:36...and then...
01:12:37...if you are still alive...
01:12:39...I will tell you more.
01:12:42Shut up.
01:12:44Shut up.
01:12:47Shut up!
01:12:48Aye, shut up.
01:12:50Calm yourself, Williams.
01:13:03Oh.
01:13:15Ah.
01:13:24What's that?
01:13:25How the hell should I know?
01:13:27I've never had anything like that in my life.
01:13:30It is Shere Khan.
01:13:32He's returning.
01:13:33Good.
01:13:34I'd like to bag me a tiger.
01:13:36Do not be wishing for this, Tiger Sahib.
01:13:39He's the devil.
01:13:43Shere Khan answers.
01:13:45I must protect you from him.
01:13:48I must escape.
01:13:50Are you going with you?
01:13:52No.
01:13:53It's safer with these men...
01:13:55...and their guns.
01:13:58Be careful.
01:14:01I will come back for you.
01:14:05I know.
01:14:20Stop.
01:14:28Oh.
01:14:46He's escaped!
01:14:48Wake up! He's escaped!
01:14:54Stop! Stop!
01:14:58No. No.
01:14:59No, no.
01:15:01Bob, help me!
01:15:03Bob, look out!
01:15:05Somebody help me!
01:15:07Raleigh, what are you doing in there?
01:15:09It's quicksand, Wilkins!
01:15:11It's sucking me down!
01:15:13Give me your hand!
01:15:14It's got my leg! It's sucking me under!
01:15:16Give me your hand!
01:15:18Give me your hand!
01:15:20Stretch me out!
01:15:22Give me your hand, Wilkins!
01:15:24Come on, reach!
01:15:27Come on!
01:15:32Raleigh, you're pulling me in!
01:15:34Don't! Don't!
01:15:36Raleigh, you're pulling me in!
01:15:38Come on!
01:15:58Raleigh.
01:16:00Well...
01:16:02...let's not be discouraged by every little thing.
01:16:07Let's go.
01:16:09But my father!
01:16:11If you can't leave my father, he'll die!
01:16:14Such is life.
01:16:27Bob!
01:16:58Come. We must go. Quickly.
01:17:07My friend will take you back to the village.
01:17:10Friend?
01:17:20An elephant.
01:17:22There had to be an elephant.
01:17:28Bring her back for me.
01:17:32Please.
01:17:35Mowgli.
01:17:39I think a man lucky...
01:17:42...can count you as a friend.
01:17:49Ted! Ted! Ted! Ted!
01:17:57Ted! Ted! Ted! Ted!
01:18:00Bloody elephants!
01:18:02They know my existence.
01:18:04This would be a damn fine country...
01:18:06...if it wasn't for all the bloody elephants.
01:18:09This is just great.
01:18:11Great!
01:18:20Just be careful with that thing, will you?
01:18:23You bet. Bloody oaf.
01:18:25Join the army, they said.
01:18:27See the world, they said.
01:18:29This is seemingly the most ridiculous thing I've ever done in my life.
01:18:33Once I get back to...
01:18:37Bloody mosquito.
01:18:39Bloody jungle.
01:18:41Bloody jungle!
01:18:55My father lives.
01:19:55Ah!
01:20:26I'm sorry.
01:20:48What a shame.

01:20:56Kill him.
01:21:01Mowgli! No!
01:21:25No!
01:21:31Come on.
01:21:41My God.
01:21:43Come on.

01:21:56Sounds like monkeys.
01:21:58Monkey city.
01:22:07My God, what are they doing?
01:22:13Come on.

01:24:07Wiccans!
01:24:09Wiccans!
01:24:20You could die too, you know.
01:24:23He won't let me die.
01:24:33You're hurting me.
01:24:35Behave yourself and I won't.
01:24:40Shh.
01:24:48Follow him.
01:24:50Follow King Louie to your treasure.
01:24:53Damn.
01:25:10See, Catherine?
01:25:14It's not all that disgusting.
01:25:16It's not the place, William.
01:25:18It's the company.
01:25:40It's beautiful.
01:25:44Brilliant.
01:26:09Come on.

01:31:35Odell!
01:31:39No!
01:31:57No!

01:32:17Strength of a bear.
01:32:20Speed of a leopard.
01:32:24Heart of a wolf.
01:32:31And very sharp teeth.
01:32:40No!
01:32:58Kitty, come. We must go quickly.
01:33:00Mowgli, we have to take some of it with us.
01:33:02This treasure only brings death.
01:33:05Mowgli.
01:33:07Just one thing. Just one thought.
01:33:09Please, Catherine.
01:33:11Look what we can have together.
01:33:17Catherine, come back.
01:33:20All right, go then.
01:33:22Go!
01:33:24Go with your jungle boy.

01:33:28I don't need you.
01:33:34No!
01:34:04No!
01:34:34No!
01:35:04No!
01:35:34No!
01:35:58What is happening?
01:36:04Shere Khan sees me not as a man,
01:36:08but as a creature of the jungle.
01:36:34Hello.
01:36:57Hello.
01:36:59Hello, sir.
01:37:03Hello.
01:37:07He was a very good patient.
01:37:10Yes, you are.
01:37:29So that is how it came to pass
01:37:31that Mowgli,
01:37:33keeper of the jungle law,
01:37:35protector of creatures great and small,
01:37:37became lord of the jungle.
01:37:39So listen well
01:37:41and hear the call.
01:37:43Mowgli.
01:37:45Mowgli.

01:37:49Mowgli.
01:37:51Mowgli.
01:37:53Mowgli.

01:37:59And long life
01:38:01to those that keep the jungle law.
