00:00The Bulldogs didn't have to play anybody in 2023. Now, the
00:09third most difficult schedule nationally entering 2024 in a
00:13regular season matchup against the Crimson Tide for just the
00:17third time since 2015 and we'll get to the newcomers in OU in
00:21Texas in just a moment and elsewhere around the
00:24Southeastern Conference but Kev, that's where we go next.
00:27We joked about the SEC Championship game victory for
00:31Alabama led by Jalen Milrow but a familiar sight under Nick
00:35Saban. Seventeen years at the helm in Tuscaloosa has come to
00:39a close. With all the changes around the landscape of CFP
00:43this season, one that will also be a huge factor, Nick Saban is
00:47no longer a head coach at Alabama. They have won seven of
00:52the last ten SEC titles. They have played in seven of the
00:56last ten SEC Championship games. Nick Saban bids adieu
01:00after 17 years. Now, it's Kalen DeBoer who led Washington to a
01:04national championship game a season ago. Will there be a
01:08drop off of a big kind in Tuscaloosa? So, it's really
01:11interesting. I wanna respect Nick Saban by acknowledging he
01:14is probably the best college football coach of all time. No
01:16worse than top three in terms of that slot. We were asking
01:20questions about where Saban was lining up amongst the rest of
01:24the college football landscape towards the end of his time at
01:27Alabama. Have you ranked head coaches? I promise you that you
01:30are more than likely way too low on Kalen DeBoer. His resume
01:33right now is much better than Dan Lanning of Oregon despite
01:36the fact that everybody has completely lied to themselves
01:39about that fact. I don't know based off of him beating Dan
01:42Lanning both times last year. In fact, also Kalen DeBoer with
01:46uh preparation time, the ball games against Texas or the
01:50bye-weeks at where he beat ranked teams suggest he has a
01:53really good chance to knock off Georgia. The thing is I
01:56worry about what happens beyond that. At Tennessee, at LSU, at
01:59um at Oklahoma right before the Iron Bowl, it's a tough
02:03schedule. I think this team's a very good chance. I think they
02:06can make the college football playoff but I'm not in love
02:08with this team because I thought we would get much better
02:11prices with Saban being gone and we're just not getting.
