00:00This video is sponsored by Squarespace. Hello everybody, welcome back to my channel. For those
00:03of you who are new here, my name is Anita Stavska and my name is swimmer and fashion photographer
00:07and I show you what I do and how I do it on this channel. Today I will be walking you through this
00:11really insane photo shoot I did at Plume Villas in Bali. They are these really beautiful interior
00:17villas that you can stay at and you can shoot at, so I definitely recommend you guys check them out.
00:21I'm going to have them link them down below. I shot there with Irene Rudnick and we shot two
00:25models, Atlanta and Julia and everybody's going to be tagged down below, so make sure to check
00:30them out as well and let's get right into the video. That's gorgeous, beautiful, yes, love that.
00:36Love, let me take a picture. I will be taking some pictures with film. For this one you just have to
00:40be a bit more still because it just needs to like be tucked into the inside of the white sarong.
00:45Actually, you know what, maybe for this one just take off the sarong, just your bikini. Yes,
00:50beautiful, and then just like sit against it at the back. Yes, have your leg up. Actually,
00:56I just, just point your toe, the bottom one. Yes, and maybe have it up a little bit higher. Yes,
01:00exactly. Whenever I shoot at a new location, I always try and decide which area do I want to
01:06start with first. It can be a bit overwhelming when you come in and there's so many beautiful
01:09locations to work with. You also have to figure out the light and where it's best at a certain
01:14time because light does tend to move around quite quick, so you have to work with it. For us in
01:19particular, we started with Lana and then Julia joined us later on in the day, so we decided to
01:25go for this arch. The light was pretty nice and soft. It was not in direct sunlight, which was
01:29great because it gets so insanely hot, so we set it up in this little arch and we worked from there.
01:35I need to see the angle of this. I'm just trying to see if it's a good thing I can do.
01:40Oh, that's beautiful. Yes, it's amazing. Yes, beautiful. Maybe chin up a little bit. Yes,
01:54perfect. Just like that. Stay like that. One, two, three. Beautiful. I want the full body as well.
02:01Oh, that's beautiful. I want to have a bit of sky in behind. Can you be a bit more centered? Yeah,
02:06just like right here. Perfect. Oh, that's beautiful. Whenever I'm on location, I always
02:13follow the natural light and see where it goes. It makes such a huge difference for your images
02:17and sometimes it means you have to rearrange your shot list and wait for the light to get a
02:22certain way. For this particular one, I wanted this really nice direct but feathered light,
02:27so I put my model in this arch and it created really, really nice highlights and shadows on her
02:33without the harshness of the rectal light. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And just, yes. Yes, beautiful. I love
02:39that. Oh, yes. Beautiful. Just like that. One, two, three. Beautiful. Oh, yeah. Do you not elongate
02:48your legs for this one? I'll take a full one because it looks really nice. You can have this
02:51one on top of this. Oh, that's so beautiful. I would love for this leg to be a bit more
02:56the other way. The one on top to be a bit more bent and then the other underneath straightened.
03:01Yes. So, it's more like this kind of a vibe. Yes. Perfect. Just like that. That looks amazing.
03:09Oh, my God. I love this. I think the leaning is better. Yes. It looks a bit more natural. Otherwise,
03:14it looks cute levitating. Stay like that. Beautiful. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Just a little tilt.
03:20Beautiful. Oh, yes. Your eyes closed. Amazing. Dude, look at these.
03:35Dude, that looks insane. Can you bring the little chains? Oh, that's fine. Oh, love that. Yes,
03:44you're fine. Yes. And close your eyes and look up. Yes. Just like that. Close your eyes. Yeah.
03:52One, two, three. Love that. Beautiful. Oh, actually, let me see if I can shoot it through
03:59the stairs here. Perfect. Yes. One, two. Irina, I can see you filming in the mirror. It's okay.
04:10One, two, three. And then don't look at me for this one. Yes. Just you can look. Just use your
04:16eyes. Perfect. Just like that. One, two, three. And now you can look at me. One, two, three.
04:30And turn towards me. Face me and then come a bit more centered. Keep going. Yes. Just like that.
04:36Perfect. And just in the middle. Perfect. Beautiful. Yes. Beautiful. Yes. Gorgeous. Stay
04:42like that. I'll just change my thingy. Love that. And stay there. Don't move. Let me just see.
04:55Oh, yeah. Love that. Actually, come up closer now. Yes. Beautiful. Lean on the thing again
05:01on the back. So the way you were maybe even sitting on the counter.
05:05Yes. Beautiful. Just like that. Love. Yes. Love. Cool.
05:19I just want one more shot of you. Can you come here? And just go in the sun. For this one,
05:23if you were like sideways on your hip here. Yes. And then chin up. Yes. Exactly. Oh, okay. Now we're
05:30talking. Oh, shit. It's my phone. And what if you face a bit more towards the sun? Yes.
05:37Look over just slightly. Yes. Beautiful. What if you... You don't have to open your eyes. It's fine.
05:42What if you rest your head on the step? And hands over your head. Yes. Beautiful. Your hands closer
05:47to your head? Yes. Actually, yeah. Almost like you're covering your eyes from the sun. Oh,
05:51beautiful. Just stay here. I just need to be a bit lower. I don't know where I'm going with this.
05:55Oh, this is beautiful, actually. This is film, so I'll just... One, two, three. Beautiful. Let's see.
06:03Just like that. That's perfect. One, two, three. Even just like that. Perfect. Just the hands over
06:09your... Oh, actually, you know, just like that. Perfect. Beautiful. Can you stick out this hip
06:13even a little bit more? Come to the side. Yes. Perfect. And maybe one hand over your head. Just
06:18kind of like you're getting like resting. Yes. Exactly. Okay. Yes. Beautiful. Just like that.
06:23One, two, three.
06:35Beautiful. Oh, I love that. Beautiful. On, Julia, towards the sun. And then straight on with your
06:41body. Yes. And just like... And be a bit more... You're facing the sun. You have to step out a
06:45little bit. Yes. Perfect. The one... Don't look at me. Yes. Just... No, no. Don't look at me. Yes.
06:50Just the way you are. Atlanta, can you look at the top? At the top. Two. And you know what? Can
06:55you both lean forward a little bit? Because the light is very harsh. Yes. Wow. Beautiful.
07:05And look at me over your shoulder, both of you. Yes. Perfect. And Julia, you're leaning a little
07:10bit too much. A little bit less. Yes. Exactly. Beautiful. And Julia, now what if you lean your
07:15back towards, towards Atlanta and lean on her almost, if you can. And your head on her. And
07:20Atlanta, maybe you support her a little bit with your head as well. Yes. Oh, beautiful. And then
07:25closer. And then Atlanta, can you have your hand up like Julia? Just on the curtain. Yes. Beautiful.
07:30And then I'll tell you to look at me on... Point your toes as much as you can, both of you,
07:34with the top toe. Just point it. Yes. Perfect. One, two, three.
07:39And look at me, both of you. One, two, three. Yes. Oh, it's like that? Look at me. Yes. Perfect.
07:44I want one on this. Can you guys try and both look at me? It's 5,000, 3.5. Okay. 5,000,
07:513.5. So yes, the way you're leaning. Oh, look at me. One, two, three. Beautiful. And another one.
07:58One, two, three. Beautiful. Can I, could you like lean on Julia? Yes. Maybe with,
08:03let's see. We can go down there. Let's see. I just don't like it sideways as much. I would
08:08rather you be a bit more straight. Yes, exactly. And maybe you can lean back on the wall. Yes,
08:15exactly. Oh, that's a bit too. You have to be closer to her. So basically your head next to
08:18her butt. Sorry. Yes. That's beautiful. Just like that. And you guys can, I'll count you in. One.
08:24Can I actually get you to extend this leg ever so slightly forward and then point it up? Yep.
08:27Beautiful. Just like that. Yes. I love that. One, two, three. Open your eyes. And again,
08:33one, two, three. Beautiful. I would love to take some singles of you guys as well. Because I think
08:39just against the wall or something here would look really pretty and kind of almost like portraits.
08:43So do you know what? Actually, let's move you here. I just want a few here. No, no, you're good.
08:47Beautiful. I want the portrait. Yes. Beautiful. I just don't really like this. I don't like this.
08:53Beautiful. I want the portrait. Yes. Beautiful. I just don't really like the little
08:58thing. So maybe just against the wall. I want something pretty simple. I think it's beautiful
09:03with the colors. It's going to look really nice. And look at me. Yes. Beautiful. And look to the

11:15see. No, this way. Sorry. Beautiful. I want the picture of the two of you. Uh, Atlanta, if you're
11:22okay with like dropping your top as well, and you guys will be standing next to each other.
11:25And maybe, oh yeah, beautiful.
11:28Lean your face a bit more towards her. Yes. Okay, beautiful. Oh, that looks so good. That looks
11:36beautiful. Yeah, I love that. You're leaning your face again. Yes. And try, Julia, try to keep your
11:41head straight because it looks like you're running away from her. Oh, just like that. I love that.
11:45One, and Julia, can you chin down ever so slightly? Beautiful. One, two, three. And then I'll do, oh,
11:52actually, just from here. Beautiful. One, two, three, three, four. Oh, cool. And then one, maybe
12:06from behind, just like this. Can we actually switch you guys around? Julia, can you go on the
12:10back and, oh yeah. Just want the other side of my face. Yes. Or maybe even on her shoulder, like
12:17Okay. Yeah, you can do that as well. Beautiful. And Julia, can you like lean your head towards
12:23her head? Yeah, actually, no, that's a bit too much. Maybe just a bit further. Yes, just like
12:28that. Perfect. One, two, three. Beautiful. And just lean a bit more. Yes. One, two, three. Just hold
12:34your, maybe just one hand, or maybe, yes, just this. And that's just, yes, down like that. Perfect.
12:39One, two, three. I love this. I'll just take a few of just yours. Oh, yeah, yeah. I love that.
12:45Yes. One, two, three.
12:52Just like that. Beautiful. I want a few. I can see it will be. Yes, just like that. Done.
