00:00The Nord Stream gas pipeline is now back in the spotlight.
00:09There have been a number of publications in Western media.
00:16The UN Security Council just recently discussed this topic.
00:21There have been some strange statements from official Berlin, which we cannot leave without
00:26comment.
00:27I am talking about the statement by the official representative of the German Foreign Ministry,
00:31Sebastian Fischer.
00:33He made these statements during the weekly press conference of the German government
00:36on August 19.
00:37He stated that Berlin allegedly exchanges some information with Russia about the terrorist
00:45attacks committed in September 2022 on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.
00:51You understand, there is no need to be surprised by anything anymore, considering that just
00:56a couple of weeks ago his boss, Chancellor Scholz, said that it was allegedly Russia
01:03that stopped supplying gas to Germany.
01:08Although everything happened the other way around, Russia is ready, and we have spoken
01:13about this many times, including in interviews with German media.
01:17After they tried to close them down, we said that Russia has never stopped the supply of
01:24its natural resources, meaning energy resources, gas supplies to Germany, moreover, even if
01:33the appropriate decisions are made.
01:37It is technologically possible to do this within a month, so that is why any absurdity
01:44from German official representatives already seems quite predictable.
01:48But we will still comment on this.
01:50With this statement, the German side obviously tried to cast doubt on the validity of the
01:54claims that were put forward by the Russian side against the FRG authorities regarding
02:00their refusal to cooperate in the investigation of this crime.
02:03Let me remind you that this is a crime of global scale, because it occurred not just
02:08on the European continent, but on the territory of several countries of the European continent,
02:16and it occurred in violation of the relevant anti-terrorist conventions.
02:21Both the crime itself and Germany's refusal to cooperate, this also violates the relevant
02:27anti-terrorist conventions of the United Nations.
02:30It is also necessary to emphasize that the above-mentioned words of Mr. Fischer do not
02:35correspond to reality at all.
02:37Let us say this simply, so that it is easier for translators to translate it into German.
02:42This is a lie, for almost two years, the German side has responded to all inquiries
02:50from Russian competent departments and agencies regarding the explosions of the Nord Stream
02:54gas pipelines, with only empty formal replies and excuses.
02:59Not a single document that they allegedly sent to us contains any factual information.
03:09This is not the first time that Berlin has tried to convince the public and the world
03:16diplomatic community that they are allegedly fulfilling all their bilateral and international
03:23obligations, moreover, they are trying to feed the international community this bureaucratic
03:29red tape that they have unleashed as proof of fulfilling their international legal obligations.
03:36This is a lie, they do not provide the Russian side with the facts they have on this investigation,
03:45although they are obliged to do so.
03:48Russia insists on holding official bilateral consultations in accordance with the current
03:52regulations, which, by the way, are spelled out in the anti-terrorist conventions of the
03:57United Nations, by the way.
04:04We would like Mr. Fischer or his leadership and the person of the German foreign minister
04:08or the German chancellor to declare their commitment to observing and implementing the
04:11UN anti-terrorist conventions, if they are committed, then please comply with them.
04:18The statement by the representative of the German foreign ministry only strengthens our
04:22suspicions of Berlin's intention to bury the investigation, which is being conducted in
04:27total secrecy, preventing it from identifying the true instigators of the attack on the
04:33largest trans-European energy infrastructure facility.
04:37Which is of paramount importance, first and foremost, for Germany itself.
04:43Incidentally, the persecution of the German media for trying to establish the truth about
04:50Germany's energy security, I think, shows that Berlin has something to hide, and it
04:59is extremely uninterested in conducting a real investigation and, naturally, in having
05:05this truth made public.
