00:00Let's continue this conversation.
00:04We're going to bring in Malik Neighbors.
00:06We're going to bring in Amari Cooper.
00:07Now, a lot of people like what Neighbors brings, his youth, his
00:10dynamic athletic ability.
00:11But for me, I like the person throwing the ball to a person
00:15that knows how this thing works in the league.
00:18It's not his first time around and I think the defense for
00:20Cleveland's better and it's going to put the offense for
00:23Cleveland in better spots.
00:24So Eileen Cooper, but let's hear from you.
00:26Oh, this is so tough because I have railed against both of
00:30these quarterbacks, right?
00:31Haven't I?
00:31I mean, I've talked about like, I love Malik Neighbors, but
00:35Daniel Jones has been a hot mess throughout his career.
00:37And speaking of hot mess, how about Deshaun Watson here, who's
00:41already dealing with elbow soreness already?
00:46No puns intended.
00:47But like, think about this.
00:48Think about that.
00:49We've got a situation here where Amari Cooper should clearly
00:53be the guy.
00:53I agree with you.
00:55Amari Cooper on paper.
00:56He's the established wide receiver.
00:58There's something about the intrigue of the new and Malik
01:01Neighbors is new and exciting.
01:04But I have been the guy for weeks talking about fading the
01:07Cleveland Browns, fading the Cleveland Browns and just the
01:09unknown of that offense who's going to be throwing the
01:12football.
01:13If Watson isn't good this year, I feel okay about Jameis Winston
01:19slinging the football around making a ton of mistakes, but
01:21you know, he's going to want to throw the football.
01:23Whereas the Daniel Jones, if and when he gets hurt again, it
01:27goes to who?
01:28Drew Locke.
01:29So I'm going to lean towards Cooper here, take the devil that
01:32I know instead of the devil that I don't know.
01:35And there's a really good chance Malik Neighbors just destroys
01:38the ADP he's currently at.
01:40There's a good chance that we look back on this conversation
01:42here and we say, I can't believe we're talking about this.
01:44Malik Neighbors is a star and Amari Cooper is a veteran who
01:47is now going in the other direction.
01:48That's very possible.
01:50For that ADP, where they're both going, I am going to agree
01:53with you.
01:53I don't like either situation, but I will lean towards Cooper
01:58ever so slightly.
01:59Just taking the guy, the veteran, and hoping for the best
02:03as opposed to hoping that everything comes together for
02:05the Giants, which typically last couple years has not been
02:08a good hope.
