00:00And now, during an exclusive interview on our international multi-platform Telesur,
00:05the president of the Communal Development Commission of the National Assembly, Blancar,
00:10et Chaud, affirms that thousands of citizens stood in long lines to vote a community project
00:16despite the heavy rains in some regions of the country. Let's see.
00:22Yes, even though in some regions there was a lot of rain, I was in Portuguesa,
00:27and the truth is that it was a very heavy rain. And nevertheless, the people mobilized.
00:33The queues have not ceased to attempt to exercise this sovereign right and this privilege that
00:39Venezuelans have, unlike, unfortunately, many people of the world who see their participation
00:46limited to processes every five or six years, where their sovereignty is delegated to others
00:54who rarely express the needs, nor the interests or the struggles of their people.
01:00Likewise, the president of the Development Commission of the Communions reiterates
01:05that the vote of the youth population is key in this second national consultation
01:10to improve their quality of life.
01:15To be a part of a community, to be a part of a community of human beings,
01:20that we believe that we dream and that we build together a space of life and dignity.
01:25These young people are voting for the court of their community, or for the school to improve
01:30their community, or for the spaces of park and recreation, or water and electricity.
01:36The part of the neoliberal capitalism model and its most brutal and savage feats imposed
01:43by the hegemonic imperialism, it kidnaps the human being from its living space,
01:48it isolates us as a family, and as a community, and as a nation.
01:53And here, it is a whole nation in each space of the territory, each community, but it's a whole
02:00nation that decides collectively and lovingly how we achieve a more human and dignified coexistence
02:06of life. During the war that they make us, we support peace, joy, and life.
