00:06It comes from the word Izz.
00:08It means he is the undefeatable and no one will ever overcome Al-Aziz.
00:14Allah is also called Al-Mu'izz, which means the one that gives away Izz to whoever he
00:20wishes.
00:21This means Al-Mu'izz gives power and strength to overcome things to whoever he wishes.
00:27And when someone is granted Izz, it is considered honourable.
00:32The Holy Quran says وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاءُ
00:39And you honour وَتُعِزُّ whoever you wish and dishonour whoever you wish.
00:46When you obey Allah and stay away from bad deeds, Allah Al-Mu'izz grants you Izz.
00:53He grants you strength and honour and protects you against sinning.
00:57Imam Ali said لا عزة أعز من الطقوة There is no honour, no Izzah, more honourable
