The perfect rebuttal to anyone you see on Facebook and Twitter that mindlessly and ignorantly says Trump does not condemn racism or White supremacy, yadda yadda, etc. Show this video to every race-baiting Trump hater out there. But most importantly show it to the independents who are confused about Trump and those intellectuals that have a sick case of confirmation bias and use selective reasoning to stay in denial. ---- From FactCheck.org -- Former Vice President Joe Biden wrongly claimed President Donald Trump has “yet once to condemn white supremacy, the neo-Nazis.” Trump drew criticism for his condemnation of “hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides” after a rally organized by a white nationalist in Charlottesville in 2017, and for saying there were “very fine people on both sides.” But, contrary to Biden’s claim, the president twice specifically condemned white supremacists and neo-Nazis, and he has repeated that condemnation since.-- https://www.factcheck.org/2020/02/trump-has-condemned-white-supremacists/
President Donald Trump announced details of his “Platinum Plan” for African-Americans Friday, which would include increasing capital in black communities by $500 billion, designate the KKK and Antifa as terrorist organizations, and making lynching a national hate crime.
Trump unveiled his plan, which would also make Juneteenth a national holiday, at the Black Economic Empowerment Conference in Atlanta. Trump drew criticism for his condemnation of “hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides” after a rally organized by a white nationalist in Charlottesville in 2017, and for saying there were “very fine people on both sides.” But, contrary to Biden’s claim, the president twice specifically condemned white supremacists and neo-Nazis, and he has repeated that condemnation since.
Trump has said his “very fine people” comment referred not to white supremacists and neo-Nazis but to “people that went because they felt very strongly about the monument to Robert E. Lee — a great general, whether you like it or not.” Some have argued that explanation doesn’t hold up, because Trump referred in that statement to a protest “the night before” when — it was widely reported — white nationalists burned tiki torches and chanted anti-Semitic and white nationalist slogans. We’ll leave it to readers to make up their minds on Trump’s remarks, but Biden’s comment that Trump has “yet once to condemn white supremacy” is not accurate.
The Charlottesville rally turned violent, and one person, Heather Heyer, was killed and many others injured, when a man with a history of making racist comments plowed his car into a group of counterprotesters.
The day of that incident Trump said, “We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence, on many sides. On many sides.” Trump said he had spoken to Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, and “we agreed that the hate and the division must stop, and must stop right now."

00:00Have you ever heard this president say one negative thing about white supremacists?
00:05Have you ever heard it?
00:06I totally disavow the Klu Klux Klan.
00:10I totally disavow David Duke.
00:13You wouldn't even condemn David Duke for God's sake.
00:15What do you see as the biggest problem with the Reform Party right now?
00:19Well, you've got David Duke just joined.
00:21A bigot, a racist, a problem.
00:24I mean, this is not exactly the people you want in your party.
00:26I got back in this race because what happened in Charlottesville.
00:30People coming out of the woods carrying torches, their veins bulging.
00:34And a young woman gets killed resisting the hate and violence.
00:38And the president gets asked to come in.
00:40And what's he say?
00:41He says they're very fine people on both sides.
00:45And you had some very bad people in that group.
00:47But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides.
00:53And I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists,
00:56because they should be condemned totally.
00:59They should be condemned totally.
01:01In June of 2018, Alice Marie Johnson was released from prison
01:05after serving nearly 22 years.
01:08I was once told that the only way I would ever be reunited with my family
01:13would be as a corpse.
01:15But by the grace of God and the compassion of President Donald John Trump,
01:21I stand before you tonight and I assure you I'm not a ghost.
01:27I am free.
01:29When President Trump heard about me, about the injustice of my story,
01:35he saw me as a person.
01:38He had compassion.
01:40And he acted.
01:42Alice was given a life sentence.
01:47And you spent about 22 years.
01:50And for something that today a lot of people wouldn't even be going to jail for,
01:55it was horrible.
01:57And we found out about it.
01:58And we gave a commutation.
02:01That means we were able to get Alice out.
02:04And she has been just so outstanding.
02:07And I'm so proud of you.
02:08And we're giving Alice a full pardon.
02:11I just told her.
02:12We didn't even discuss it.
02:13We just, you were out there.
02:15I saw you in the audience last night.
02:18And I asked the folks if you could bring Alice over.
02:20We're going to give a full pardon.
02:22We're going to do it right now.
02:23That means you have been fully pardoned.
02:25That's the ultimate thing that can happen.
02:28That means you can do whatever you want in life.
02:31And just keep doing the great job you're doing.
02:33And here it is.
02:42I know personally about his feelings towards Haiti and towards Central America.
02:45Because when I was not a candidate for president,
02:48and he wasn't a candidate for president,
02:50I went down there on a medical mission trip.
02:52I did about 200 cataract surgeries with a group of surgeons in Haiti.
02:55And the same in Central America.
02:57And when we asked Donald J. Trump as a private citizen to support those trips,
03:01he was a large financial backer of both medical mission trips.
03:05Well, I was watching the news.
03:06And it became a big story in the news.
03:09And I watched a man walk by this girl who was in serious distress,
03:13like nothing was going on.
03:14And then I watched somebody else walk by,
03:17like absolutely nothing was wrong or nothing was happening.
03:21And then I saw Darnell stop his bus loaded up with children and people,
03:26and so beautifully walk over and so calmly
03:30and convince this woman who was in serious trouble to get off the bridge.
03:35I thought it was so beautiful to see.
03:37I think he's a great guy.
03:38I think he has an amazing heart.
03:41And I said that man should be rewarded.
03:43So Donald Trump sent out this tweet saying,
03:46I'm going to send him $10,000.
03:48He deserves it.
03:49I don't know if Darnell needs money.
03:51I hope he doesn't need money.
03:52But he should be rewarded for what he did.
03:55And frankly, I'm very honored to help him out.
03:58In a split second decision, Autry jumped to rescue a stranger
04:02who had fallen onto subway tracks,
04:04pinned him into a narrow gap between the rails
04:07as the train barreled over them with only inches to spare.
04:11This is a brave man.
04:12So congratulations.
04:14Donald Trump gave him $10,000.
04:17It's to be part of my life.
04:20I've had the honor and privilege to work with then candidate now President Trump
04:26and to observe him behind the scenes and have a number of personal conversations with him.
04:31And people ask me, why do I defend him so vociferously?
04:34And I say it's easy for me to do because I know it.
04:37And he's shown me his heart.
04:39And I know he has a heart for all Americans.
04:41Tonight, President Trump unveiling Opportunity Zones,
04:45a new policy he says will build up communities in need
04:48by giving investors tax breaks to invest in low income areas.
04:52Our goal is to ensure that America's great new prosperity
04:56is broadly shared by all of our citizens.
04:58And I will say this.
05:00This administration has taken a lot of people by surprise.
05:03It's going to surprise you guys even more,
05:04because this is probably the most proactive administration
05:09regarding urban America and the faith-based community in my lifetime.
05:13And I'll be 60 years old in December.
05:15But when I think back on, I mean, I use good hair dye.
05:20And I've got a great makeup artist.
05:22But to be honest, this is probably going to be the,
05:26and I'm going to say this at this table,
05:27the most pro-black president that we've had in our lifetime.
05:31Because, and I try to, you know, analyze the people that I encounter.
05:35This president actually wants to prove something to our community,
05:40our faith-based community and our ethnic community.
05:42The last president didn't feel like he had to.
05:44He felt like he didn't have to prove.
05:46He got to pass.
05:47This president, this administration is probably going to be more proactive
05:51regarding urban revitalization and prison reform
05:54than any president in your lifetime.
05:55If we work together, give them a chance.
05:57Don't pay any attention to these guys back here.
06:02And I promise you, we will do something.
06:05We will, this administration will continue to make history.
06:09It's going to be a lot of positive change.
06:11Great things are on the horizon.
06:13Jobs and investments are pouring into 9,000 previously neglected neighborhoods
06:19thanks to Opportunity Zones,
06:21a plan spearheaded by Senator Tim Scott as part of our great Republican tax cuts.
06:29I do want to express thanks to you, Donald Trump, for being with us tonight.
06:48We need your building skills, your gusto,
06:55your rent packets for people on Wall Street to represent diversity.
07:03And we thank you for coming tonight.
07:06Let's give Donald Trump a big hand.
07:11In terms of reaching out and being inclusive, he's done that too.
07:15Aside from all of his style and his pizazz,
07:23he's a serious person who's an effective builder of building with a build of people.
07:28Last year, he was a part of our workshop to embrace the underserved communities.
07:33Donald Trump.
07:36A large percentage of the people, and especially in construction,
07:40that are building these great jobs are black and minorities.
07:44And I'm very proud of it.
07:45We have close to 25%, and I think the number's going up.
07:49And they do a great job.
07:51There are no better builders than we have in New York,
07:54and a big percentage of that is black and minority folks.
07:57So I just want to thank everybody in the room for being here.
08:00Are you willing tonight to condemn white supremacists and militia groups
08:05and to say that they need to stand down and not
08:09add to the violence in a number of these cities as we saw in Kenosha and as we've seen in Portland?
08:15Sure, I'm willing to do that, but I would say almost everything I see is from the left wing,
08:21not from the right wing.
08:22So what are you saying?
08:24I'm willing to do anything.
08:25I want to see peace.
08:26Then do it, sir.
08:27Say it. Do it. Say it.
08:29Do you want to call them?
08:30What do you want to call them?
08:31Give me a name.
08:32Give me a name.
08:32White supremacists and white supremacists.
08:33Who would you like me to condemn?
08:34White supremacists and white supremacists.
08:37Stand back and stand by.
12:07Are you willing tonight to condemn white supremacists and militia groups?
12:25Racism is evil, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists.
12:31Condemn the evil of anti-Semitism and hate.
12:35Our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy.
12:41Be no tolerance for anti-Semitism in America or for any form of religious or racial hatred or
12:50prejudice.
12:51Must never ignore the vile poison of anti-Semitism for those who spread its venomous creed.
12:59How many times do I have to reject?
13:01I've rejected David Duke.
13:03Rejected David Duke.
13:05I've rejected the KKK, the Ku Klux Klan.
13:09From the time I'm five years old, I rejected them.
13:12David Duke is saying to his supporters and followers,
13:14vote for Donald Trump.
13:15White supremacists are saying vote.
13:17Do you want those votes?
13:18No, I don't want them and I don't want him to say it.
13:20I don't like any group of hate.
13:23Hate groups are not for me.
13:25David Duke endorsement, I disavow, okay?
13:29Let me be clear again.
13:30I condemn the KKK.
13:32I condemn all white supremacists.
13:34A Trump's campaign told CBS News,
13:37this publication is repulsive and their views do not represent the tens of millions of Americans
13:42who are uniting behind our campaign.
13:45Jim, would you repudiate David Duke?
13:47When we looked at it and looked at the question,
13:49I disavow David Duke.
13:50I disavow David Duke all weekend long on Facebook, on Twitter,
13:55and obviously it's never enough.
13:57I totally disavow the Ku Klux Klan.
14:00I totally disavow David Duke.
14:03Ku Klux Klan, which obviously I'm going to disavow.
14:06Do you want white supremacists to vote for you?
14:08No, I don't.
14:09No, not at all.
14:10How many times do I have to reject?
14:19Love for America requires love for all of its people.
14:25When we open our hearts to patriotism,
14:28there is no room for prejudice,
14:31no place for bigotry,
14:33and no tolerance for hate.
