00:00Hello everybody so here is my January 8th 2014 weigh-in.
00:06So before I get to my weigh-in, I just want to talk about something real quick.
00:10I seem to say that every single time, but there's always something I want to talk about.

00:30It seems like there's triggers, like, all around me.

00:36I have way too many triggers to set me off the course that I want to be on.

00:44I know just a couple days ago it was stir fry, which I succeeded at.
00:48Yesterday it was my girlfriend's mom making pasta.
00:51She made it very healthy.
00:54I'm overly grateful for the support that she's giving me while she's making her dinners
01:02because it's making it to where it's easy for me to count my calories.
01:07It's making it to where it isn't calorie ridden.
01:14I mean, it's very good calories and I'm appreciating that very much.
01:18But when she made pasta yesterday, I was thinking to myself,
01:24oh boy, here we go again, another trigger, I'm gonna fail today.
01:28And I didn't.
01:31And I think that is, like, so amazing.
01:36And what gets me is that I didn't even feel the urge to, um, mess up.
01:47So it's very, very, it's weird because I'm not used to this.
01:52I'm used to messing up after an hour of dieting.
01:56I'm not even kidding.
01:57So it's just, it feels great.
01:59I'm, I'm on top of the world right now.
02:04Not physically, but mentally.
02:06And I'm just feeling empowered.

02:12Um, so it's just, it's just incredible.

02:17So let's just get to my weigh-in.
02:20Yesterday I weighed 369.4.
02:23Today I weighed in at 368.8.
02:27So that is down 0.6 in just one day.
02:32So I'm very proud of that.
02:34So I'm going to tell you how much I lost within this whole week.
02:41This whole week.
02:44The first week of 2014.
02:48Like I said yesterday, I won't be telling you how much I lose weekly because I feel
02:51like it'll get too confusing for me because I do write down my weight, um, and stuff.
02:58And I, I'm just going by days, by like every single day.
03:02But I'm very curious of how much weight I lost in the first week of 2014.
03:06So I'm about to tell you guys.
03:08So, um, I just totaled it all up.
03:10And in the first week of January, I am down 8.2 pounds.
03:17So in seven days, one week, I am down 8.2 pounds.
03:24What did I just say?
03:258.2 pounds?
03:27Like what?
03:30What?
03:31I mean, 8.2 pounds.
03:34I am so...
03:41There it is.
03:41I am so speechless.
03:45I'm proud of myself.
03:47And, uh, 8.2 pounds.
03:51I mean, there are some days where I was only down such a small amount and I kept pulling
03:57through and some days I was down a bigger amount and it made it to where my overall
04:03weight loss for the week is down 8.2 pounds.
04:07I am so freaking happy, you guys.
04:10You have no idea.
04:11And I'm so thankful for every single one of you for helping me in this crazy journey of
04:17mine.
04:18Like, I am so grateful.
04:23I, I gotta be honest.
04:26I gotta be honest right now.
04:28Without you guys, I honestly do not think that this first week would have been this
04:36successful.
04:37Without you guys and my girlfriend, I, I feel like I would be lost because honestly, I know,
04:45I know I need myself and my right mind frame to succeed in this, but you know what you
04:50need first?
04:51I feel like you need support because that is what gets you going and motivated and inspired
04:57and I have received that from all of you guys and I'm so happy.
05:00So, I just want to say thank you guys so much, really.
05:03So, that means I am down in total.
05:09Sorry, my nose ring itches.
05:11That's like really awkward.
05:14I am down a total of 51.2 pounds and I have 69.0 pounds to go before I get to 299.8.
05:25I'm feeling, I'm feeling good right now because I have to lose 1.5 pounds a week to
05:32reach that goal in 2014 and I'm already ahead of the ballgame.
05:35So, I hope I stay ahead of the ballgame because that would be really nice.
05:39And there's one more thing I wanted to mention.
05:41I've been wanting to mention this for a few days now and I keep forgetting.
05:46I want this, I want to reach the 350s since I'm 368.8 right now.
05:53I think I could reach 359.8 in the month of January.
05:57I would love that.
05:59You guys have no idea.
06:00I have not been in the 350s for like a year and I feel like just that little, that little
06:06amount I need to lose is so far but yet so close.
06:10I really want that.
06:12So, I'm hoping I could reach that goal and I just kind of wanted to mention it to you
06:16guys that I need to lose 9 more pounds to reach that and I think I can.
06:24I really do.
06:25I'm really hoping I can.
06:26I know there's this, I don't know if you want to call it a myth, but there's this
06:33thing going around in the weight loss community that the second week of, weight loss is always
06:40the hardest for some reason.
06:41The second week is, you know, it's harder to lose weight and you don't normally lose
06:48as much as you'd want or, you know, it's just a drastic difference from week one and
06:55I'm a little nervous for that, gotta be honest.
06:57But we can do this and I'm, I'm proud.
07:05I'm proud of myself.
07:06I'm proud of my girlfriend.
07:07I'm proud of you guys and I hope, I hope, I hope more than anything that I am inspiring
07:16you and I hope that I'm helping you guys with whatever journey, you know, you're trying
07:24to succeed at because I honestly think that if I can do it, then you can too.
07:31I think, you know, I honestly think I'm proof right now because, I'm sorry, I did not mean
07:39to, you know, get all emotional, but I honestly think that losing weight for me is by far
07:47one of the hardest things I've ever had to do and I've gone through a lot.
07:53But losing weight is such a big struggle and I'm doing it so you can too.
08:00And I just want to let you guys know these are happy tears because I am proud and I get
08:07messages from you guys saying that you guys are proud of me and that you're, I'm inspiring
08:13you and motivating you and I feel like that's all I want in life is to be able to inspire
08:21people and inspire myself.

08:31in here, but I'm just, I'm proud and right now I hope it sticks with me for a very long

08:46Hello everybody, welcome to my vlog for today.
08:56As you can tell, I'm wearing my hair up in a ponytail.
09:00Yesterday I wore my hair down pretty much all day, just down and regular, that's how
09:05my hair normally looks, but um, cause I had a friend of mine comment and say, your hair
09:11looks different.
09:12That's because you guys are probably used to my hair always being like up or whatever,
09:15but yesterday I had my hair down.
09:18I don't normally have my hair down too much because it is long and it kind of gets, you
09:23know, in the way, but I love my long hair and I'm never gonna cut it again, ever.
09:30So, just making that clear.

09:35Making salmon tonight, all's I have on there is some salt and lots of pepper.

10:18It's just a bad habit of mine, but for breakfast I had, um, an apple and I dipped it in peanut
10:23butter and honestly, I wasn't expecting to like it like that much, but it was so, whoops,
10:31dropped my pencil, but it was so, so freaking good.
10:35Like, it was way better than I thought.
10:38It kind of reminded me of like a caramel apple, but this is like the healthy version.
10:44Very, very good.
10:45And then for lunch I had the salmon, corn, and, um, some, what?
10:55I thought my girlfriend just made a face at me, but I guess not.

11:01For lunch I had, um, salmon, corn, and potatoes with feta cheese, bacon bits, and pesto, and
11:09it was delicious.
11:10I cooked for everybody besides Crystal's dad because he does not like salmon, but, um,
11:15yeah.
11:16I just feel like lately, I love that you guys enjoy my vlogs because you guys tell me, but
11:23I feel like I'm, they're just so boring and you guys tell me they're not, they're not.

13:29We have to go to Walmart and get her some gauze and hand wrap, but she wants to eat
13:33first.
13:33I'm trying to make this salad, and for some reason, God stop me, but I don't care.
13:40I'm going to keep going, and I'm going to eat my salad.
13:42Burned myself, but I don't know.

13:51And I mean, it was hurting so bad earlier, but now I don't even feel it.
13:57But yeah, boo-hoo.
14:02So this is a gigantic thing of organic baby carrots, and I mean, it's a really big bag.

14:10And normally, when we get carrots, like, I'll get the bag that's, like, half of this, and
14:14we won't even eat it.
14:16We'll end up throwing it out because it gets, like, gross or whatever, but we've been doing
14:20so good.

14:24But we've been doing so good and stuff like that, that literally in just, like, what has
14:30it been, like, four days, my girlfriend and I have eaten that many carrots between us.
14:35Like, I'm just so proud that we're actually doing just fantastic, and I wanted to share
14:39you guys, share this with you guys, because in a way, it's kind of like a metaphor for
14:44how good we're doing.
14:45I mean, it really is.
14:47I know it might be weird to some people, but it's the truth.
14:51We're doing really good, and yeah.
14:54So I'm about to try this.
14:57Yes, it's processed food, blah, blah, blah.
15:02But I mean, I'm just going to tell you guys now, I do eat healthy, but I also eat the
15:08processed food.
15:10Like, I'm always eating fruits and vegetables, but I mean, I do not deprive myself.

15:18It's a stir-fry rice and vegetables with chicken, and I will let you guys know what I think
15:24of it.
15:26Okay, so here's the fried rice, and my first thoughts on what it looks like is kind of
15:34like not what I was expecting.
15:38I don't know.
15:39So let me just try it, and I'll be completely honest.
15:43Okay, so I'm going to try it on camera.
15:48I'm assuming that's the chicken and stuff, so here we go.
15:54Okay, it might be hot, so wait a minute.
16:00Oh, my hair looks frizzy.
16:08Okay, it's delicious, delicious, delicious.
16:17It's 440 calories.
16:19It's not much, but if you like have vegetables and stuff with it, totally worth it and filling.
16:26So I just got done with the fried rice, and I had three small pot stickers with it.
16:33It's these pot stickers we found at the store a few weeks ago, and everyone in the house
16:38likes them, so we get them frequently.
16:40A serving is five, but on my fitness pal, if you put in that you're having one, it'll
16:45show that one is like 48 calories or something, so it's not even bad calories.
16:49So I had three with it, and while we were making everything, my girlfriend and I had
16:54a serving of carrots, and to be honest with you, I am like full right now.
16:59I feel very content, and I feel like a week ago, I wouldn't feel like this.
17:07I'm just getting really in the rhythm of dieting and eating smaller portions and stuff,
17:13and it's just great.
17:14So we're going to have our snack in a little bit, and then that would be it for the night,
17:18and I'll show you guys kind of what I'm having for a snack later.
17:21So this is what I'm having for a snack.
17:23It's a soft bake oatmeal square peanut butter.
17:26They're all right.
17:28I mean, they definitely taste, you know, healthy, but I like it.
17:33I'll eat it.
17:34And I'm also having these Pringles salt vinegar.
17:37I'm having the whole can.
17:38Totally joking.
17:42I just want to trick you guys.
17:44Each Pringle is 10 calories, so I am having 14 for 140 calories, and they are right there.
17:51And I wasn't going to have the carrots with my snack, but as I told you guys, I eat them before
18:00we even had our dinner, so I would have some carrots right here, but that's my snack.

18:27Hello, everybody.
18:28Here is my weigh-in for January 9th, 2014.
18:32Yesterday, I talked about in my video that week two is normally the hardest week in weight
18:39loss because, you know, your body lost a big amount the first week, so the second week
18:44it's probably not going to lose a big amount.
18:46I ended last night with thinking, even if I don't lose, you know, a big amount, I want
18:51to lose at least three pounds this week because I feel like it's suitable for myself and what
18:58I need to do for myself and my goal and stuff like that.
19:01So when my girlfriend weighed in first, she stayed the same.
19:04She did lose a very big amount yesterday.
19:06She lost 1.2, and for her size, that is incredible because she is not that big at all.
19:13I figured today she was going to weigh in and not see, you know, a big drop and when
19:18she did stay the same, I was proud of her for everything that she did yesterday.
19:22She's been doing fantastic and I am so happy that she is doing this because I can just
19:27tell that she is happier when she's doing this and I feel the same way.
19:33I completely feel the same way.
19:35So seeing that she stayed the same, I figured I was going to see something along those lines
19:41only because it is the second week and even in the past, second weeks literally are evil
19:47to me.
19:48It is the truth.
19:49But I stepped on the scale and this is what happened.
19:53Yesterday, I weighed in at 368.8 and today I weighed in at 367.2.
19:59So that is down 1.6.
20:01I am doing incredible.
20:03I can't get over.
20:04I just can't get over it.
20:06I really think I'm going to reach my goal of 359.8 this month and it's exciting.
20:12Yes, it's exciting.
20:14That's all I can say.
20:15I'm just excited and maybe I can start wearing my jeans again because honestly, I did gain
20:21a lot of weight and I could no longer wear my jeans.
20:23It's pretty pathetic but it's the truth.
20:26So I'm very happy to, you know, one day I'm going to be able to wear them again and I
20:30cannot wait to tell you guys about that.
20:32So that means overall, I'm down 52.8 and that means I need 67.4 pounds more to lose
20:39until I get to 299.8.
20:41So that sounds pretty good and I'm doing pretty good and I'm excited.
20:45But another weekend is coming up tomorrow and weekends are the hardest for me.
20:49Somehow, I was able to get through it last weekend so I'm hoping to be able to get through
20:54it this weekend because this is literally my past.
21:00Monday through Friday, well, Monday through Thursday, I would count calories.
21:05All day long, I do great and then when night came, I could literally eat like 800 to 1,000
21:11calories in just snacks.
21:12So that was how my day went but somehow, I was able to lose a few ounces every day.
21:19I don't know how it happened so I was like, oh okay, if I can, you know, eat a bunch of
21:22snacks all day and still lose weight, then I'm good.
21:25Then the weekend came and I binged like mad.
21:28Even worse than eating 1,000 calories of snacks.
21:31Like, it was bad and I gained like triple the amount that I lost in the week.
21:37That's how I gained, you know, 40 pounds from my lowest.
21:41It's just, it's bad.
21:43It's a bad look.
21:44But honestly, I feel like I can get to my lowest again and it's like creeping up on
21:48me.
21:48When I think of it as like little segments, like okay, I'm in the 360s now.
21:53Pretty soon, I'm going to be in the 350s and then once I'm in the 350s, I'll be in
21:56the 340s.
21:57It's like when I think of it like that, like it seems so close to me and if you guys don't
22:03know, my lowest was 331.8 and when I was that weight, I was down 89 pounds and a year and
22:13a half ago or something, I gained a lot of weight back as you can tell.
22:18Um, I mean, I did fantastic losing those 89 pounds and I feel like the mind frame that
22:26I had then, I have again and I've retried over and over and over and over and over and
22:32over and over and over and over and over since then and never have I felt like this or done
22:39this good.
22:39So, I feel like I'm actually on the right path and it feels so good.
22:46Anyways, I'm going to stop now.

23:55I honestly enjoy hearing other people's opinions that aren't the same as mine because I like
24:00to see how other people think and I feel like being a grown-up and an adult, you need to
24:07be able to respect other people's beliefs and other people's opinions about certain
24:11situations and I think that's what makes you mature because you can have that discussion
24:20and you can have a discussion with somebody who doesn't believe in what you believe in
24:26and I feel like that's important in life to be able to have opinions but not force them
24:33on people and to be able to accept other people's opinions.
24:37So, my question today is do you think spanking children is okay?
24:42I know it is a very serious question.
24:45I'm going to answer it to the best of my ability because I do not want to upset anybody.
24:50I don't want to make anybody mad at me.
24:53I want to say however you raise your children is up to you and what you think is right for
25:00your children.
25:01If I had a child, I do not think spanking would be a part of my way to get them to not
25:08do something again.
25:09I feel like a timeout or grounding or take away something that they love like a toy,
25:18Xbox, something that they enjoy.
25:23I grew up with my dad and my mother who abused each other.
25:28I just don't believe in this.
25:31I don't think that if someone does something wrong, they should feel physical pain, especially
25:37a little child.
25:38That is just my opinion.
25:39But I do want to say one thing.
25:42I do not think that people who spank their children are bad parenting.
25:47I never said that.
25:49I do not think that at all.
25:50I think everyone is raised differently and so they grow up to believe in different things
25:57and if you spank your children, that is up to you and I am not one to judge.
26:03For me, if I had children, I would not spank my children.
