00:16In a post on Ex by Oasis frontman Noel and Liam Gallagher, the brothers said,
00:21this is it, this is happening. Tickets go on sale at 9am local time in the UK on Saturday,
00:27August 31. There has been no great revelatory moment that has ignited the reunion,
00:34just the gradual realisation that the time is right, said the band in a statement,
00:38adding that they are also planning to play more dates outside Europe later next year.
00:43The announcement comes just two days shy of the 30th anniversary of Oasis' 1994 debut studio album,
00:50Definitely, Maybe. The album included popular tracks, Live Forever, Rock and Roll Star,
00:57and, Supersonic, and marked the beginning of Oasis' remarkably fast rise to fame.
