00:00A fire broke out in Barangay Payatas, Quezon City, where six houses were burned.

00:11James Agustin has the first news.

00:17The residents of Lasone Street in Barangay Payatas, Quezon City woke up to a fierce fire before midnight.

00:23The fire spread quickly to the nearby houses.

00:26The first alarm was set on the Bureau of Fire Protection.

00:29They had 16 firetrucks responding, aside from the fire volunteer group.

00:34I heard my nephew screaming,

00:37there's a fire, auntie, there's a fire.

00:39So I immediately looked at the fire.

00:41The fire was already above the house.

00:44It spread out, the fire was strong, except for the light materials.

00:48Residents affected by the fire went to the covered court.

00:52Modular tents were set up.

00:54Ms. Senayda's family did not save anything.

00:58They were screaming that there's a fire.

01:00Then we went outside.

01:02We went to the roadside and stood by.

01:04We were wearing clothes.

01:06Even the house was on fire.

01:08We had equipment, speakers, TVs, ceilings, electric pans.

01:14All of our equipment was on fire.

01:16Her neighbor, Merly, jumped from the second floor of her house to be saved.

01:22She was hit by rocks and arms.

01:25I saw the fire on the roof.

01:27I said, why is it so hot?

01:29It's so hot.

01:31I said, there's a fire, there's a fire.

01:33It's so strong, it's about to go inside.

01:35We opened five windows.

01:37I went inside.

01:39She's in trouble now because she was not able to save anything.

01:43The requirements of my husband, if he died, everything was on fire.

01:47Everything was on fire.

01:49I didn't bring anything, not even an ID.

01:52The house was on fire after more than two hours.

01:55According to the BFP, six houses were on fire.

01:58They are still investigating the fire that broke out from the second floor of a house.

02:02Because it was raining, this helped so that the fire wouldn't spread.

02:07But the road became slippery because it was going down.

02:11The street is narrow.

02:14The fire was spreading and our firefighters were going inside.
