00:00This video was taken by some members of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, or KOJC, at 4 o'clock in the early morning earlier.
00:12This is what we heard when we entered the Jose Maria College building inside the KOJC compound.
00:19The PNP first said that their ground-penetrating radar detected heartbeats from an underground bunker inside the compound.
00:30The PNP tried to confirm with GME Integrated News that they are investigating inside the building, but they refused to give details on what is being done inside the compound.
00:42It is already day 4 of the police search for the 30-hectare compound to catch KOJC founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and other accused.
00:53According to the PNP, they are having a hard time finding Quiboloy, so the operation was delayed, but they are convinced that he is just inside the compound.
01:03We cannot find the right entrance to the compound, so it is really hard. We were prepared.
01:11KOJC went to Davao Regional Trial Court to request a temporary restraining order and injunction against the PNP.
01:20It just so happened that Davao City RTC issued a temporary protection order in favor of KOJC that they requested back in July 1.
01:31The court ordered the police to stop all activities that are dangerous to life, freedom, security and property of the petitioners.
01:40The court also ordered the PRO-11 to remove all barricades that block access to and from the compound.
01:49According to the court, the restrictions and control imposed by the PNP-11 over and within the compound of KOJC and GMC-FI noticeably trampled not only the property rights of the petitioners, its officers and members, but also the exercise of the religious freedom and academic rights.
02:10Our presence there is based on a valid warrant of arrest issued by the court and addressed in that address.
02:20And pending any order from the court that says, Police Regional Office-11 is ordered to vacate and stop the implementation of the warrant, then that will be the time that we are going to vacate.
02:33The release of the TPO was welcomed by the members of KOJC. Based on the interpretation of their lawyers, the court ordered the police to leave and leave the KOJC compound.
02:47But according to the DILG and PNP,
02:50I don't know what they're celebrating but one thing is certain, they're not stopping the implementation of the warrant. That's very clear.
03:00There's nothing to be worried about for now because what's written in the protection order is clear.
03:08According to the PNP, they will only remove the barricades that are in accordance with the court's order.
03:14But the police will continue to deploy to the KOJC compound to serve the warrant of arrest against Kikibuloy and the accused.
03:25However, the DILG and PNP will request clarification from the court in accordance with the issued order.
03:32We will not stop the implementation of the warrant and hopefully, we will be close to our goal.
03:40The Commission on Human Rights reminded the PNP to exercise maximum tolerance.
03:46Their advice to KOJC members is to avoid hurting others.
03:51The KOJC refused to move their members against the police.
03:57As for the members, they are not allowed to enter.
04:01Others are just sleeping on the streets.
04:04It's not true that the members are violent.
04:10They have allowed the police to enter the compound. They have allowed the police to search the premises.
04:15President Bongbong Marcos insisted that there was no overkill or excessive use of force and that there was no violation of human rights.
04:23I think what they're talking about is political. That's not true.
04:30You go to any human rights advocate, there's nothing that we did.
04:35All the police who entered were not armed.
04:38None of them had a gun.
04:40We did not use tear gas.
04:43We did not do anything like that.
04:45So what is a human rights violation?
04:47The President is now calling on the pastors not to unify the supporters.
04:52They did not sign up to be in the front line of this kind of thing that's happening now,
04:57that they will protect him from arrest even when he has cases filed against him,
05:02not only here in the Philippines but also in the United States.
05:06So I suppose I can understand their disagreement with us, even anger.
05:18But all that the police are doing is enforcing the warrant of arrest against Apollo Kibuloy.
