00:24In today's video, we are going to give you complete information related to Aja Ekadashi.
00:31In today's video, we will tell you when is the auspicious time for Aja Ekadashi Vrat,
00:37what is the right time to perform the Vrat,
00:40what items to perform the Vrat,
00:42what items to offer to God on this day,
00:45what is the Pooja method,
00:47and the important rules of Ekadashi Vrat which we all should follow.
00:54Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada Maas is known as Aja Ekadashi.
01:00It is also known as Jaya Ekadashi.
01:03Those devotees who perform the Aja Ekadashi Vrat with true faith and dedication,
01:10they get infinite wealth, sons and grandsons, and prosperity and happiness.
01:16Performing this Vrat with complete obedience to the rules and listening to the Katha,
01:21they get equal amount of good results as per the Ashwamedha Yagya.
01:25Ekadashi Vrat comes twice in every month.
01:29One is in Krishna Paksha and the other is in Shukla Paksha.
01:32It is also known as 11th Vrat.
01:35Ekadashi Vrat is the most beloved Vrat of Lord Lakshmi Narayan Ji.
01:40This Vrat is the best among all the Vrats.
01:44This is the Vrat which liberates us from all the sins.
01:47On Ekadashi day, we should get up at Brahma Muhurta,
01:50get rid of all the daily activities and take a bath in the Ganga river.
01:55If it is not possible, then we should take a bath by adding Ganga water in the water of the house.
02:00We should wear clean clothes.
02:03We should not wear dirty or torn clothes.
02:06We should not wear black or blue clothes.
02:10We should take the vow of Ekadashi Vrat by chanting the name of our God.
02:16And then we should dedicate the vow to the Lord.
02:20Then we should pray to the Lord,
02:23O Lord Vishnu, O Lakshmi Narayan,
02:26Today I am going to take the vow of Ekadashi Vrat.
02:31By your grace, may this vow of mine be fulfilled without any difficulty.
02:37And may we get the fruits of our good deeds.
02:40Whatever wish you have in your mind, say it to the Lord.
02:44On Ekadashi day, eat fruits once in a while.
02:47Whatever you eat, add basil seeds to it and offer it to the Lord.
02:54On this day, worship Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi day and night.
03:00Listen to the Ekadashi Vrat Katha and do the Aarti.
03:04On this day, chant the 12-letter mantra of Om Namo Bhagvate Vasudevaya.
03:10On Ekadashi day, worship Lord Vishnu with Panchamrit, Ganga water.
03:16Offer yellow clothes to the Lord.
03:19Offer yellow flowers, Tulsidas, yellow sandalwood and roli to the Lord.
03:25On Ekadashi day, Akshat is not offered to the Lord.
03:29So instead of Akshat, offer black sesame seeds.
03:33After this, show the sun and light to the Lord and offer fruits.
03:40On Ajay Ekadashi day, offer almonds and dates to the Lord.
03:46Then offer them as Prasad.
03:49This will make the Lord happy.
03:52On Ekadashi day, get up early in the morning, take a bath, wear clean clothes and worship the Lord.
04:00After worship, feed the Brahmins and give them donation.
04:04If you can't feed the Brahmins, then give them dry food.
04:08If you can't give them dry food, then give them cash.
04:13Then do the Paran at the right time.
04:16Now let's know the auspicious time for Ajay Ekadashi Vrat and the right time to do the Vrat.
04:24The Ajay Ekadashi Vrat of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapad Maas will start on 28th August 2024, Wednesday, at 1.22 pm.
04:35And it will end on 29th August 2024, Thursday, at 1.40 pm.
04:43All devotees will follow the rules of Dashami Tithi from 28th August and will do the Vrat on 29th August.
04:52The time to do the Ajay Ekadashi Vrat will be 30th August 2024, Friday, from 7.45 am to 8.40 pm.
05:03The Ajay Ekadashi Vrat is done with Pushmant.
05:07If this is not possible, then you can do the Vrat with fruits, water and basil leaves.
05:14After this, have food and eat rice in the food.
05:20Because rice is prohibited on Ekadashi day, so have rice on the day of Paran.

06:03Those who keep Ekadashi Vrat, they should give up the bowl of Kansa from the day of Dashami.
06:11Vaishnav Siddhant is that do not eat the food of the kitchen in which the meat is cooked.
06:35These things should be given up from the day of Dashami.
06:39On the day of Dashami and on the day of Dwadashi, they should eat once.
06:44On Ekadashi day, they should not do any kind of activities, entertainment, etc.
06:51They should not sleep.
06:53They should not sleep at all during the day.
06:56They should not eat betel leaf.
06:58And they should not break the tree and cut its branches.
07:01They should not criticize anyone.
07:04They should not gossip.
07:06They should be silent.
07:09They should talk at least.
07:11They should do Bhajan and Kirtan all the time.

07:18They should not steal.
07:20They should not hurt anyone with their voice, body and mind.
07:25They should not indulge in any kind of entertainment.
07:28They should follow Brahmacharya.
07:31They should not get angry with anyone.
07:33They should not lie.
07:35On Ekadashi day, they should consume some pure fruits.
07:40They can consume water and milk.
07:43You can consume water 2-4 times.
07:46But they should consume milk and fruits only once.
07:49They should consume fruits only after offering them to God.
07:53They should consume milk and fruits only after sunset.
07:57They should not consume alcohol.
08:00A person who follows all the Shastra rules from 10th to 12th,
08:07he will definitely get the result of Ekadashi Vrat.
08:11And he will always be blessed by Lord Lakshmi Narayan.
