00:07I knew this is something I needed to do.

00:09It was very unique.

00:11I was on the edge of my seat.

00:12I went through all sorts of emotions.

00:14I think it's a stroke of genius.

00:16And Zoe Kravitz really did write it and direct it that way.

00:24I've always been a huge fan of the thriller horror genre.

00:28If you can get the audience on board with you,

00:30you can go to some really wild places.

00:33Zoe's an incredible director.

00:34This is her first film.

00:35And to be able to create something

00:37that was that in-depth and had so many levels to it

00:40was extremely impressive.

00:42She just had a lot of fearlessness.

00:44She's very talented and incredibly clever.

00:46And that's what the movie really feels like.

00:48She had her eye on so many different details,

00:51from the script to the set to costumes

00:54and, of course, to characters.

01:01that it's been really fun to play with.

01:03This is a story about power and what we do with it.
