00:00We're expecting a quiet end to the transfer window for Manchester City, I suppose in keeping
00:04what has been the theme of the summer for the Premier League champions. There was of
00:08course a little bit of talk about City perhaps looking to bring in a striker to replace Julian
00:12Alvarez, but I don't think that is going to happen and Pep Guardiola pretty much hinted
00:16at that in his press conference last week. I think from City's perspective they feel
00:20that if there is a striker who does become available and is, I suppose, at a good price
00:24and a player they are interested in, they would move for a player, but that looks unlikely
00:29at the moment. The example of a possibility was given was Manuela Kanji. City didn't expect
00:33to make a sign-in late in the 2022 window and Manuela Kanji popped up and City decided
00:38to do it, but as I say it looks unlikely at this stage. Despite interest in Celtic forward
00:44Kaigo Furahashi, easy for me to say, and of course Ori Oskarsson of Copenhagen, two nice
00:50easy ones for me to pronounce in a video. But other than that, in terms of outgoings
00:55we are expecting Issa Kabore to join Benfica on loan. Obviously was in the squad, has been
01:02in two of the three matchday squads for City so far this season and Pep Guardiola did say
01:07there was a chance he would remain with the team this season, but it looks like, as I
01:10say, he is going to join the Portuguese side. Mateus Nunes has also been linked with an
01:15exit on loan to Atletico Madrid. No massive update on that, we will have to wait and see
01:18on that one, but it does remain a possibility. Otherwise, not expecting a huge amount to
01:23happen. There have been a couple of outgoings in the last couple of days. Obviously, Joao
01:26Cancelo is the big one, moving to Saudi Arabia for a fee of 21 million. We have also had
01:33Maximo Peroni joining Como on loan until the end of the season and Keke, the Brazilian
01:39winger, joining Sparta Rotterdam on loan as well. But as I say, expecting a quiet end
01:43to the transfer window for Manchester City. Pep Guardiola is happy with his squad. It
01:47is unlikely there is going to be any major arrivals or outgoings. Perhaps a couple of
01:51huge team players going out on loan. I suspect that is the case with quite a few Premier
01:54League sides. We could see a few French players leaving on loan, but not expecting a huge
01:58amount and we will of course be covering it on Manchester World as always.
