00:07You know, it's interesting. When they first proposed this and put it together, we still had five power conferences.
00:13You know, I think with the consolidation and the demise of the Pac-12, you know, now it's much more tidy, I guess I would say.
00:21Four major conferences, all four most likely will get those automatic bids and a first-round buy that comes with it.
00:29And then a group of five champion. I think the big adjustment for college football fans is the notion that these are not the top four teams in the rankings.
00:37They're the four highest-ranked champions, and I think it could be a bit controversial if, for instance, let's say the Big 12 champ is only 10-3 and ranked 12th in the country,
00:47but they're a top four seed and somebody that's ranked higher than them, many teams that are ranked higher than them, have to play those first-round games.
