00:00These are some of the games for Friday that obviously we'll be looking at tomorrow, including
00:08that FAU Michigan State game, where I guess it was the kid, now I haven't been in Joe,
00:13I know Scott, you probably talked about this earlier in the week, the kid on Michigan State
00:18basically telling you to take the over last week, which is not common in college athletics.
00:24You also have Temple in Oklahoma tomorrow night, Western Michigan and Wisconsin, and
00:28an interesting late-night game with TCU going to Stanford, who of course is now a member
00:35of the ACC.
00:36Yeah, kind of crazy, it's a whole new look here for a lot of teams, and actually back
00:45Wisconsin is going to be, because Luke Fickle, not exactly a banner year last year, but they
00:52did end up landing the former University of Miami quarterback, Tyler Van Dyke, in the
00:59off-season.
01:00Now, they are usually, and how many times have we said, Wisconsin's always been a team
01:04where they just, they lack a quarterback, right, they don't have anybody who can throw
01:07the ball.
01:08This guy can throw the ball.
01:10So this is going to be no more Braylon Allen and Malusi, this is going to be, I think,
01:15a different Wisconsin team this year, one that's going to have no problem throwing the
01:19ball, especially outside.
01:22I think Wisconsin makes a statement and blows the doors off of Western Michigan, but he
01:27is worth keeping an eye on with Wisconsin, because I don't think this is going to be
01:33your grandpa's Wisconsin anymore.
01:35I think they're going to come out throwing the ball all over the field this year.
01:40Very possible, Joe, and they need to change something up, because it was not a good first
01:45year for Fickle over there.
01:48And we know how college athletics work now.
01:51If you don't turn it around immediately, they're pushing you out the door.
01:56You don't have, these guys used to have three years, four years, get the program in place,
02:03get their kids in there, establish the culture, Joe, is what all these guys try to do.
02:10You can't do that anymore.
02:11If you're going somewhere new, you got to be able to hit the portal and hit it hard
02:15and be good immediately while you are still trying to bring in your own kids and recruit
02:22kids out of high school.
02:23So it's such a double-edged sword now, Joe, for all of these guys, and Fickle's one of
02:28them in Wisconsin that he's got to keep up with the big dogs.
02:31He was brought there to play with the Ohio States and Penn State, Michigan, and that's
02:36where he needs to be.
02:38Yeah.
02:39Yeah.
02:40And I, listen, you brought in the right quarterback.
02:41You have the former North Carolina Air Raid offensive coordinator in there.
02:47They, you know, the problem was they were stuck with all the old pieces from the previous
02:52regime that they were trying to make fit this year.
02:55Now they went out and put together the kind of team that they want.
02:59It's going to be a different, obviously, Big Ten this year, but Wisconsin's going to be
03:03a team I'm going to be interested in, in seeing how it goes.
03:08And of course, I can't wait for Penn State to throw up all over themselves.
03:12That's going to be a lot of fun, too.
