Mum's grief after daughter dies from Costa hot chocolate

The mother of a teenager who died after drinking a Costa Coffee hot chocolate has spoken of her grief and anger losing her daughter.    Hannah Jacobs 13, had a severe dairy allergy and died within hours of taking a sip of the drink.  Report by Alibhaiz. 00:26I'm not going to lie to you. I'm very angry about it. I'm very upset about it because

00:35my little girl is not here anymore. The ward needs to know allergy is a very serious thing.

00:42It's not their fault that they've got this, but it's what's happened. So if you know anybody

00:48has got allergy, you need to know about what they've got, how to make sure you keep them

00:52safe. We would love Costa to literally start using the sticker note like we suggested from

01:00the inquest. It's a very simple thing. They're going to save a lot of money, they're going to

01:06save a lot of lives because I wouldn't want this to happen to another child that's got allergy.

01:11No parent should be burying their child like this. It's not right, it's not fair. It's a

01:20very hard thing and it's a struggle.
