00:00We're making hard-boiled eggs in the oven,
00:02baked on a towel.
00:04Before you start commenting, this is not my idea,
00:06I'm just trying it out to let you know if it works or not.
00:09Start by getting a towel, damp, not too wet.
00:13About 30 minutes at 320,
00:16but I'll be on standby with the fire extinguisher.
00:18Good news is no fire.
00:19Bad news is it does kinda smell a little bit.
00:21It says you can just pick this up.
00:23I don't know if I just ruined my towel or not.
00:25And then into the ice bath, let's see what's inside.
00:29I think it makes the peeling a little more difficult.
00:31Perfect hard-boiled egg.
00:33Now this is a hard-boiled egg,
00:34but what I read was you're not going to get a gray ring
00:39at all because it has something to do
00:40with the egg coming in contact with the metal in the oven.
00:45I will say the only time I would ever maybe use that method
00:48is if I needed to make a bunch of hard-boiled eggs
00:51at one time.
00:52Otherwise, the pot works just fine.
00:53But let's remember, it wasn't my idea,
00:55and you are responsible for your own kitchen.
