What will happen to Kang after Doctor Doom arrives?

Last week, Marvel finally revealed that Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., will be Kang's replacement in the Avengers films.
Yes, Doctor Doom will be the big villain in Avengers: Doomsday, which premieres in 2026, and also in Avengers: Serretas Wars, which premieres in 2027.
So, with Doctor Doom being replaced in the next Avengers, how will Marvel explain what happened to Kang? There are two alternatives.
The first is to follow the end of the 2nd season of Loki, in which the AVT goes on a mission to stop the Kang variants. By the point of Avengers 5, it can only be explained that all of the Kangs have already been detained, with the villain no longer a threat to the multiverse, and thus never to speak of his name again.
However, there is another alternative that may appeal more to the villain's fans. Marvel could bring in a new actor to play Kang in Avengers 5, and make the character a secondary villain, still having Doctor Doom as a major threat in the new films.
