00:31in celebration of National Peace Consciousness Month this month of September.

00:37Today, the President led the commemoration of the 28th anniversary of the 1996 Final Peace Agreement

00:46between the Philippine government and Moro National Liberation Front or MNLF.

00:52Through the agreement, more than 7,000 MNLF combatants returned to the government

00:59and joined the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police.

01:04In 2022, the President also led the commemoration of some MNLF officials

01:11as new members of the Moro Transition Authority.

01:15A sign of peace, unity, and reconciliation agenda.

01:20As a country's national peace agency, we hold on to our commitments

01:25to work closely with our peace partners in ensuring the implementation of all our signed peace agreements.

01:31The implementation of transformation programs has been intensified

01:35to help former MNLF combatants and their families and communities.

01:41So my fellow Filipinos, the dividends of the peace that we have worked so hard to achieve are now upon us.

01:48And the responsibility to create a more inclusive and prosperous country now lies in our hands.

01:55Meanwhile, the officials of BARMM assured that the first Bangsamoro election will be a peaceful one.

02:04We, as MNLF, assure that at least whatever falls to us, we will fulfill it in a peaceful way.

02:14The Bangsamoro government are working very efficiently.

02:19That is a result of the implementation of all the programs of the Bangsamoro government

02:28with the support of the national government.

02:30On the first day of September, the Peace Bell was sounded in the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City

02:36as a sign of the beginning of the National Peace Month.

02:42Various activities were also held, including the construction of the Peace Education Summit

02:47and the 38th commemoration of the CIPAT Peace Accord

02:52along with the inauguration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on September 13.
