00:00Personally, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. is in charge of delivering aid to those affected by Hurricane Christine in the Bicol Region.
00:09The President wants to ensure that the aid is complete, from food to medical needs of those affected by the calamity.
00:17This is what Clayzel Pardilla has to say.
00:21Lula of C-130, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. sent this aid from Metro Manila to the Bicol Region affected by Hurricane Christine.
00:35Some of the satellites were brought to the region to have a communication line, generator set, and water filtration,
00:43which will temporarily supply electricity and clean water.
00:48Tonnets of processed meat products and 1,000 boxes of canned goods arrived from the private sector.
00:55In addition to this, 1,000 food packs and hygiene kits were distributed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
01:03Four tracts of rice were sent by the National Food Authority to the victims of the hurricane.
01:10We have a system to help all the victims, and all of that is in place.
01:17President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. received P80,000 financial aid for the province of Albay and the town of Naga.
01:26The President assured that he will provide the most necessary assistance to the victims of the calamity
01:33and to continue the rescue operation for those affected by the flood and landslides.
01:38There are other places that are still being rescued.
01:42But of course, those in the evacuation centers that are being given relief goods,
01:48we saw that cash benefits have already started to be given so that the people can go home.
01:58When they go home, they will have money for their needs.
02:03But we will continue to provide them with food packs until they can cook for themselves.
02:13The President also ordered the addition of a medical team to Vicol.
02:19Public hospitals in Naga City are still open, but most of the people are deployed in evacuation centers.
02:29The Executive Minister assured that the supply of medicine is sufficient.
02:33So for the medical concerns, it's usually the medicines that we have to look up.
02:42First, the prophylaxis for the leptospirosis and all of the other diseases that come with the flooding.
